Took my baby at at 2 in the morning, they were already busy but they were quick to check my cat and register him. My cat had to stay 12 hours but we were allowed to stay with him all the way. The staff was very kind and attentive towards my pet and his owners. The vets were knowledgeable and explained everything with detail. All emergency hospitals are pricy but all things considered, I didn't think it was too bad and they are willing to work with you if you cannot afford the full price. All in all, I would definitely take my pets here if I need to, but I hope I won't have to in a long long time. Thank you VEG for taking care of my Nula!

My cat is incredibly calm and friendly, yet I was charged for sedation because they claimed he was "aggressive," which is completely out of character. I took him to another clinic for a second opinion, and he only needed medication for a viral infection, no surgery. If you love your pet, get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive procedures here.

They took time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and treated Wally with genuine care and respect. The facility was clean, modern, and well organized. We met with Dr. Ready. She clearly understood that Wally was family, and we wanted to ensure he was comfortable. We made the decision to have Wally stay overnight for diagnostics and to benefit from an oxygen kennel. The next morning, Thrive sent the diagnostic information to Wally's primary vet to ensure everyone was on the same page. We returned to Thrive, and met with Dr. Montgomery to review Wally's test results. Our guy was not doing well. Dr. Montgomery gently and patiently walked us through our options. Wallace Albie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 12.22.25, calmly, comfortably and surrounded by family that loves him dearly. The folks at Thrive showed the utmost respect, kindness, and professionalism during one of the most difficult moments in a pet family's life. We are truly grateful, and I highly recommend Thrive without hesitation... exceptional care.

From the moment we arrived, the staff acted quickly and immediately took him to the back while helping me complete the necessary paperwork. I was extremely distraught, and I truly appreciated how one of the staff members took the time to sit with me and help calm me down. Everyone I interacted with was kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring during such a scary situation. Our visit did take several hours since they wanted to monitor him closely throughout the day, but I appreciated that the team checked in with me about every hour to provide updates on how he was doing. Those updates meant a lot and helped ease my anxiety. Dr. Gonzalez was knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything. Thankfully, they didn't find anything concerning during his evaluation and recommended that we follow up with our regular veterinarian for continued care. I hope I never have another emergency, but I'm incredibly grateful to the entire team for treating my dog with such excellent care and for showing me so much kindness during one of the most stressful days I've experienced as a pet owner. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby.

I had to bring my dog on Memorial Day weekend after I noticed that he was lethargic, had nausea,…read moreand was refusing for which was very out of character. We rushed over on a Saturday and I truly appreciate how quickly the tech's triaged him and did not dismiss his case even though he was presenting normal except for a fever and abdominal pain. I was worried that he was going to be dismissed since it had only been a few hours since he started to act strange but I know my dog so well and I know something was very wrong. The doctor let me know that they suspected pancreatitis but there was no ultrasonographer to confirm until Tuesday. He was started on meds to control pain, nausea, and try to get an appetite but he kept getting worse and they decided to have him stay overnight. Sunday they called that they were going to start on NG tube, antibiotics since he had fluid in his abdomen, and continue to monitor. They still said they needed the ultrasound for pancreatitis and I asked why not the blood test but they said they needed ultrasound which I still don't understand why it couldn't be the blood work. Monday they called and let me know he was in sepsis and the fluid had bacteria and he needed surgery but because of the holiday there was no surgeon available and I needed to transfer to blue pearl since they had someone on call. I rushed over and took him over there and I was so grateful that they had me switch because the care we received at blue pearl was phenomenal compared to here. I appreciate that the doctor started him on antibiotics early and was treating him the same way a confirmed case of pancreatitis would be treated because I feel that helped save his life. My main frustration is that they had no doctors in to help him because of the holiday from Saturday all the way to Tuesday. It was very frustrating to take a dog for emergency care to an emergency hospital and pay a ton of money to not have the doctors he needs available especially when quick care can make the difference of him living or not. I will be taking all my pets to blue pearl instead of here because of how amazing they were and that they had staff that could provide timely care.

I brought her in because I discovered a new mass on her back that had not been there previously. Since it was weekend, I couldnt take her to her regular vet, and being an anxious individual. I decided to take her to this clinic since it was open and able to take her. When she was brought back and examined, I was presented with three options: the first option presented was an aspiration biopsy. It was mentioned that the specimen could not be good enough or be contaminated and require more samples to be taken afterwards. The second option was an incision biopsy, but it was presented as painful and with the likelihood there would need to be another visit to fully remove. The last option was a full removal that day under anesthesia. With this information I thought a full removal was best. I left her there to get the procedure. It was hours before I even got the call that they were starting and not until late that night that they were done. I was told that I would probably hear back from the lab the following Thursday in regards to the results. The vet did not provide any further information about the mass or what he discovered during the operation. I was called on 5/26/26 with the lab results. It was a follicular harmatoma that is benign. In the moment I blanked because I was so relieved it was benign. The front desk people were kind and patient throughout all of my calls, and I thought that I was going to be able to move on from this point confidently. However, I have since discovered that that was not going to be the case for me and my dog. Yesterday, 06/12/26, the incision site was appearing yellow, with spots of scabbing, and stretch, stretching on the incision site (keep in mind. She had been prevented from biting or scratching as per instructed up until this point and had had her sutures removed two weeks prior). At the same time she began to show less interest in her food. With all this occurring, I took her to her primary vet. While she was there, I was called and told her gums were pale (a sign of oxygen deprivation) so they decided to draw blood (I consensted to whatever testing was needed) and it showed she was anemic. The vet questioned if she had always been anemic because, in his words, it would not be wise to perform the surgery in that condition. I Iwasn't sure about her results prior to the surgery so I called Town and Country to ask about her blood work. At this time it had not been shared to me, nor explained to me in any form. Only mentioned as "unremarkable" in her SOAP notes. After her chart was emailed to me, it showed anemia was present and detected prior to her surgery, and I was not informed about it. I was not sent her blood work beforehand, and it was not in the SOAP chart that had been given to me. I was also told by my normal vet, in kinder words, that the procedure was done quite poorly and it had led to an infection in her incision site. He was quite shocked to hear that she had had the stitches removed two weeks ago, because it looked like the site was stretched, and sewn up in a very poor manner. Overall, I am not only disappointed in my experience, but furious at the lack of information given to me and poor judgment made on the part of the surgeon when it came to tresting my pet. I feel as though I was not properly informed and the correct actions were not taken in the situation, costing me more money and potential harm to my dog at the hands of a veterinarian that very well could've been taking advantage of the fact that I was young, a new pet mom, and very clearly anxious to help my animal in any means.
