I use Webb for all of my zoo. we have 3 dogs and one cat. My elderly mother visits for half of the year with her English bulldog, which as many know have tons of medical issues, never mind my English mastiff and my elderly pit bull.They have been so attentive to all of our animals needs and have never had any issues with their prices or care. They even have a military discount. In my opinion, Anyone that does have an issue with price or care, may want to go up to Atlanta and see the difference in price and care. I understand sometimes that dogs are incurable, but due to the fact of the doctor being unavailable when I needed her, Chelsea Foglia. I experienced the most traumatic suffering and death of my best friend Rocky. When its all said and done I will be finding another Vet, other than VCA, period. I have been taking my pets here for 17 years. The one time I got mad is when they lost a bag made out of regular material that my dacshund used to crawl into. The prices have definitely gone up like everything else. They were so compassionate when we put Mona our 9 year old lab down. Dr McKenzie was there for along time. He saved one of my cats twice, He was a saint. He is retired now. We now have 2 tuxedo cats, a cheweenie and recently we got 2 lab pit puppies Gracie and George and they are 9 months old. Update..... I spoke to my friend who was present when I made the call to change my appointment just to make sure I wasn't crazy. She confirmed my recollection that the Webb representative canceled my appointment then rescheduled me for Dec. 2. during the same call. All they had to do when I showed up was to apologize for THEIR mistake and fit me in. Instead, the lady at the counter treated me like I had done something wrong. She basically called me a liar about the appt. and, as I said previously, she was rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Totally unacceptable! She needs to be fired or at least given a course in dealing with the public effectively. She failed on EVERY level! read more

My husband brought my very sick fur baby to Webb's clinic on Saturday morning for help. He explained that it was an emergency but was turned away and told that they don't do that on Saturday he will have to go to Hardeeville! What kind of a person can turn away an animal that is in need? It says open with no stipulations when I looked on line. I'm disgusted. If my pet passes away, it will be their fault. I would give a negative stars if I could ( for this experience mind you, I used to live to bring my pets there in the past. I've hesitated to write this review for a long time now but it's time to share my experiences with Webb's. I want to preface my review by saying that Webb's used to be a great vet clinic before they were bought out by VCA. My most infuriating experiences with Webb's included inappropriate vaccinations. I once took my (very) senior dog in to board. I had spent quite a bit of time working with Webb's to ensure that he could board without vaccinations. He had cysts covering his entire body and his veterinarians had agreed against vaccinating him for about a decade. When I dropped him off to board I filled out all the appropriate paperwork. When I picked him up I was shocked to learn that they had changed the paperwork and fully vaccinated my nearly 20 year old dog. When I asked about it and expressed my concern the office manager stated, "we have lots of dogs with cysts that get vaccinated." They doubled down and insisted that I signed off on him getting vaccinated, never fully admitting that they had essentially forged paperwork. In addition, they vaccinated my younger dog for rabies twice within a two month period. I'm not rating them as one star because Dr. Foglia is a caring vet who took excellent care of my elderly dog. She cared for him deeply and gave us an extra two years with him which we would not have had otherwise. If you choose to go to Webb's I'd highly recommend staying with your dog during each and every medical procedure to ensure that they are not incorrectly treating your dogs. We've transferred to Animal Hospital at Rice Hope and have not had a single issue with them. Now that my senior dog has passed I will never return to another VCA facility. Update: I've edited my review to one star since Webb's chose to further double down, insisting that it's appropriate to vaccinate a dog for rabies more than once a year despite AAHA recommendations of 1 year or 3 year boosters. Furthermore, they chose to name my dog in their response which is really poor practice. Their response should be all you need to keep your animals away from this facility. read more

Me & my family have used webb as our vet for years & never had any problems up until recently. For the second time in a row they have changed our appointment date & time without contacting us about it first. They sent me an email & card in the mail saying our appt was on the date & time we made it for but now that it's 2 days away & we've already taken off work for said appt , it all the sudden has been changed to a week later @ a time which we never would've picked because of work & said they had no record of the original appt date & time even though they sent an email & card in mail confirming it. This is after the last time we went & drove an hour to get there just for them to tell us they cancelled the appointments without letting us know. Even though the doctors & nurses are very helpful there the front desk is very unhelpful & rude when confronted abt these situations/issues. Seems they have major communication issues. Sucks because we love this vet & want to keep going to them but it's getting to a point where we are looking to switch :( read more

I have been using Webb Animals Clinic for about 15 years. I have to say that the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They were very kind when I had to help two of my fur babies cross the rainbow bridge. I now have two new babies and I have started them off right by introducing them to Webb. They all coddle them when they see them. I had my male baby fixed today and they took great care of him. They also made sure that I had all the information and meds for his after care. If I could give negative stars, I would. Last night I had an emergency situation with my senior dog. The clinic was open until 7pm, however when I called the clinic around 5pm to let them know that I had an urgent situation with my senior dog and needed to bring her in, that's been with them over 14yrs, I was turned down. Told to take her to emergency vet.. which wasn't even open at the time of my call and would be around an hour drive. I have been with Webbs(now VCA) for over 15yrs. Fortunately I called around and found a great vet that would take her. I'm not mentioning the clinic here because this review is not meant to advocate for other great vet clinics in the area, only to warn you about trusting this one with your pets. if you love your pet and value loyalty, keep looking. you won't find that here. read more

I drive 40 minutes to take my pup here because no other veterinarian in the area compares. They took such good care of her when she fractured her leg, and they made me (a crazy first time dog owner) feel comfortable as well. The entire staff is so kind and compassionate- you can tell they truly care about what they do. I was always super comfortable leaving my pup there knowing she was in good hands. read more

I have been taking my pets here for many years, and usually have a small wait, but this time was very different. We waited 50 minutes in the lobby past our appointment time & then an additional 50+ minutes in an exam room for something that took less 5 minutes to do. Someone came in with their dog 45 minutes late for their appointment and still got a room before us. Very disappointed. read more

I had my lab mix in for a lump we found on him, a big one. Obviously cancer was my first thought. The staff here was very friendly, got him in extremely quick, I had an appointment that suited my schedule a day after I found the lump. They felt it, did a couple in office tests that were inconclusive, and then told me he needed a punch biopsy. They suggested doing an additional procedure in conjunction with the biopsy because the way they all coded it ended up being quite a bit cheaper than if I'd just done the punch biopsy. Took him in on his surgery day, felt confident leaving him in their hands. They called around noon to let me know everything was ok and that the sample would be back in two weeks. I and and picked him up that afternoon, and began sweating bullets scared about my dog, had him since he was 7 weeks old. (11 years now) I got a call late on Friday the following week, it was the vet herself. Told me she had awesome news, it's NOT cancer, just an inflammation in his system that will go away. Absolutely made my whole weekend. I was so grateful for the news. I am grateful too for the staffs understanding and prompt communication. Every time I had a question an actual vet would contact me and if I could t answer they would leave a very detailed message explaining (in simple terms) what was going on with my boy. Prices were extremely reasonable, much less than other vets I've been to in savannah but with more of a personal touch. I would once again like to thank the staff and Doctors here and would definitely recommend this office to anyone, whether it be a small concern or a big one. read more

We took took our dog in a few months ago and found out he was in kidney failure-Dr.Card gave us our options, we decided to put our beloved pet down. Been going to Webb for many years and I've always had that sense that they really do care about your pet. I have never encountered problems that hadn't been resolved in a timely manner. If they make a mistake, they fill fix it right away and pricing is reasonable and not overpriced like many are. They care about you and your furbabies and are equipped for extensive surgeries from small to big which means, if there are real big problems, they can do it there. Staff is great and the hospital is always clean. :) read more
