Recently purchased a home in Oxnard and hired 101 Lint Busters to replace old clogged flexible dryer vent exhausting into crawl space with new rigid vent line exhausting properly to the exterior. While performing that work they discovered a serious electrical issue unrelated to the dryer and were kind enough to help me diagnose the source so I could deal with it. They also discovered that years of lint had built up inside the dryer and offered to stay on to clean that out for a reasonable additional fee. Found signs of burned lint - previous owners were fortunate there wasn't a serious fire! Highly recommend 101 Lint Busters! Hire them if you have any concerns at all or just need routine maintenance.

They took such good care in ensuring the carpets were covered, and their cleanup was fantastic - including one of the guys who walked the driveway and area in front for nails that may have been dropped!! He diagnosed that the blower needed to be replaced. (I am a certified aero engineer, so am familiar with ignition and burner systems) When questioned about the continuously activating ignitor, he indicated that the continuously running ignitor was "normal." When I sowed him online that the continuously activating ignitor was not normal and could be dangerous, he didn't 52 minutes researching Google on his cell phone and did not change his diagnosis or estimate fir cleaning the fan and replacing the blower that was working fir an additional $240 over the warranty's initial service fee. I called highly recommended Air Systems Solutions in Ventura, CA who arranged for a technician visit the next day. He was very courteous and did a very thorough job and replaced the ignition panel. As he was leaving, I asked him how the vent was and he said it was terrible! He asked again if I was sure the dryer was working well. I said yes, that I just have to run it twice to get the clothes dry, but I thought that was because I always used the delicate cycle He said that now it should only take one cycle. He was right. My clothes are now dry in one cycle and most importantly MY ELECTRIC BILL IS HALF WHAT IT WAS!!! Who knew? Not me, obviously! Very grateful for this service.
