We have been doing colonoscopy's for a long time do a virtual an sign the consent when you go in For the actual screening. No wonder you can't get people to keep up on their preventative care As if that consult is even worth the $100.00 dollars for the basic information they give you. They didn't even give the prep they said i was going to get.

Dr. Wylie is the type of doctor you only see once, the day of your surgery. His unorganized office…read morehandles everything else. He performed surgery on my mother while taking a particular medication for her AI condition (that could potentially hinder healing) which we were aware of. This surgery resulted in a "temporary" ileostomy. During this time she suffered with severe dehydration due to the ileostomy. No one took it upon themselves to explain that this could be an ongoing issue, nor were they in any rush to solve the problem. Wheeling Hospital also does NOT have an Ostomy nurse which in my opinion is a must for someone undergoing this type of surgery. There is no one to educate you on how to care for yourself and the severe issues and ileostomy can cause! Five months later, the surgery was scheduled; everything reviewed and all paperwork signed. A week before the reversal, he refused to do the surgery because she was taking that same medication, which she cannot be off of. The surgery scheduler called to tell my Mother this, not the doctor, NP, PA or anyone with a valid explanation. This was NEVER communicated from the start or she would not have went through with the surgery. This left us scrambling to find another surgeon, so you can imagine the additional stress. I am not one to complain, but when researching a doctor, I want a REAL review. There is a lot more to this story as to what a mess that office is, so please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. It may be convenient because he's local, but your physical health and care will suffer.

When my mother became ill, they blamed it on the pharmacy, saying 'you just can't trust computers...' Then, after a diagnostic test, Dr. Adamovich delivered a serious diagnosis in one sentence, without any explanation. My mother is in her 80s and was left with so many questions unanswered! The doctor offered no information for caregivers. Then my mother got sick on the medicine that Dr. Adamovich prescribed. We called the nurse who said to stop taking it and call back Monday. We left several messages the following week, but never got a call back. The office just ghosted my mother, who was left without care! So we took her to WVU in Morgantown and got really great attention and care. Avoid Dr. Adamovich. She and her staff are very unprofessional.
