I understand that a home inspector does not inspect the electrical system; however, there were more than a few issues that were very obvious. The first electrician we had in said it was one of the worse he had seen, so did the second...AND the third. Each electrician was from a different company because we wanted to get independent opinions. Every single one asked if the home inspector had pointed out the issues. There is not one word mentioned in the report. We have exposed wires under the sink, in the garage, and in the furnace room. A few of the plugs or switches had reversed polarity so nothing worked correctly. There was even an extension cord running used to run electricity to some of the major appliances. Knowing now what I do, I will definitely be filing a complaint with the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board. For your own safety do not hire ABC Home Inspection. The man who 'inspected' our property obviously had no idea what to look for and had no problem cutting corners.
