This doctor has a horrific understanding that he should not be wearing cologne around people with…read moreasthma. He came into my room to conduct a Pulminology consult at the Harrington Hospital. There is a sign on my door reading no perfume, cologne, etc. Yet, he has it on. When I asked the doctor if he was wearing cologne, his responses was "yes, just a little." Told the doctor that he could not be in my room and could not evaluate and treat me. He became angry. Unprofessional bedside manner. Arrogant. Told me that he was the only doctor here. I wish that I had a photo to show the anger on his face to share with all of you who read this. He has a great gig at the Harrington. It is important to note that three hospital employees including two respiratory therapists have commented to me about his heavy cologne and how it affects the patients. I have filed a complaint with the hospital.

This place NEVER answers their phone! For the past two years, every time I call I get a message…read moresaying the office is closed followed by the office hours which is a slap in the face because according to their message the office should be open. I don't know if the same person keeps forgetting to turn off the voice mail or just doesn't want to take patient calls. If this happened once I could understand but I probably call AT MOST once every 4-6 months and each time I have to try throughout the day until someone turns off the answering machine and picks up. There is also no option to even leave the office a message.

They get all of my referrals sent over timely (chiropractor and allergist) and always answer my phone calls. Squeezes me in to last minute appointments too! Dr. Helen Collette is wonderful! listens carefully and is extremely knowledgeable.
