Susana Murphy is nothing short of A MIRACLE WORKER. From both a seller's and a buyer's…read moreperspective, my wife and I can attest that Susana really delivered on every level. Energetic, hard-working, dedicated, committed, well-educated, passionate and above all else, GENUINE, are just a few words to describe Susana. My wife and I began looking for homes late last summer shortly after we found out we'd be expecting our first child. In order to find the right home for our future family, we knew we needed to sell our home on the cape quickly in order to buy around the same time. Susana made this process seamless for us, and we couldn't have been happier with the sale of the home on the cape. What we really want to highlight is our journey with Susana to finding our dream home. We had many odds against us with purchasing a home in such a seller's market, our first baby soon on the way, and our visions of our dream home being a tall order, Susana made it happen for us. Even when we felt doubtful and started to get desperate and willing to settle, she never let us stray from our original vision. We are so glad that we followed her lead because it landed us in our dream home. If you are looking for an agent that not only understands the market, but takes the time to understand their clients and their tastes, Susana is able to do both. If you're unsure how to navigate the real estate world, she's the best advocate you can have on your side to guide you over all the hurdles. Thank you Susana for paying attention to our needs and delivering the perfect home.

I was immediately impressed with her communication skills - she answered the call, gave me a specific time when she would call back and then did exactly what she promised. She also provided a wealth of knowledge about the area and immediately followed up with very sound advice on how I should proceed. As an investor who owns more than 30 homes, I was instantly impressed with Susana and continueto be more and more impressed as we move through the process. She's full of great local info, have profound real estate knowledge and have persuaded me to not buy certain properties that looked good on paper. I believe she is more concerned with my having a successful experience than just selling me a house. I would recommend her to anyone.

This review is long overdue because I have been so busy that I didn't get a chance to, but after…read morespeaking with one of my utility companies today I just had to find the time. I had the displeasure of dealing with Robert Blackwell as the selling agent for a property that I bought. When I first met Mr. Blackwell at the open house he was the nicest guy ever (being a proper salesman). I liked the property so I returned with my agent to view it and upon her recommendation we started the negotiation process. We submitted our offer and agreed on a sum on day X, and didn't get the signed documents from Mr. Blackwell until the following night. Supposedly he was in some far off place, didn't have internet or fax access and he didn't know how to use a smartphone. How my poor agent badgered him to finally get the documents by the next night. I think that these folks were stalling to see whether a more favorable offer would come in. During the home inspection Mr. Blackwell started denying allowances/changes which he had promised to make, and acting as though my purchase price was insignificant, getting loud and red in the face like a drunken...somebody. Now he was annoyed at me for coming to the open house without my agent. I guess he would not have made a bunch of empty promises if my agent had been there, maybe he thought that I did not have a buyer's agent....All this in front of the home inspector, which I thought was rather classless and unprofessional. Not sure why he was loud and arguing though because no one was arguing with him. I was too annoyed to speak, and secure in the knowledge that I had most of his statements in my email inbox (some were verbal but at this point it didn't matter much to be because the offer was contingent on the home inspection). That plus this had nothing to do with the home inspector so I had no interest in hashing it out with him present. My agent reached for her email backup, I think it is at this point that she finally saw him for who he was. During the inspection we uncovered some questionable things, most of which we asked for the sellers to address and they agreed to. One such request was to have the heating system serviced. Fast forward several months later when I receive an invoice from my utility provider for the servicing of the heating system. The invoice is in my name and the service date is the date of the closing!!! Of course I did not request this service. Bottom line is that Mr. Blackwell and his establishment are questionable. He was not honest throughout my dealings with him (my agent was so annoyed that she told me to make sure that I review him). Twice when he was caught in obvious lies, rather than admit to his errors he said "I do not remember". If I am a seller and Mr. Blackwell is a professional who I am paying lots of money to, forgets that he promised the buyer to make changes worth at least $3000, I would get rid of him. The entire process from start to finish was strained with my agent constantly chasing these folks to get paperwork. If Mr. Blackwell is not honest with potential buyers then I doubt that he is honest with his sellers either, be very aware of him and his establishment. If you are doing business with him, ensure that you have knowledgeable and trusted professionals working with you as well.
