My husband dropped my cart off there just to get the rear axle fixed and Bo called to say there would be well over $2000 worth of parts that needed repairing or replacement to include new batteries and that they could buy it from me for $800. Well- I may have taken their offer but my husband happened to also take my brand new DPI golf cart charger that I just purchased for $400. Bo said that he would talk to the owner and ask her about renegotiating the price and call me back. He was quite rude when he found out I wasn't going to sell it for $800. Time went on and and I didn't hear from them so finally I received a call back from the manager who said she didn't want to buy it anymore and quoted me $1100 total to fix everything. I said, $1100? That's way less than what Bo had quoted me a while ago. So she said she would transfer me to verify the quote. Bo got on the phone and right away said in an aggressive angry yelling voice, "You coming to get your golf cart or not?" No hello or anything just immediately combative. And I said oh- I just talked to Susan and she said you were going to verify the quote for me and he yelled at me and said, "Oh, that was a month ago and I don't remember what I quoted you so you need to come and get this golf cart now." He then aggressively added while yelling at me, "We sent you an email and you never responded so now it's too late for us to buy it back from you." I said, "First of all I never received an email from you guys and second of all why are you so aggressively yelling at me? I'll tell you why, it's because I'm a woman because there is no way you would be yelling at my husband this way over a golf cart!!!" I never once was rude to this guy but because I am a female he thinks he can talk down to me and yell at me?!?!? As soon as I said that to him, he lowered his voice and and started back peddling saying, "I don't have anything against women, I'm married to one." Even though his comeback doesn't make sense. Anyone can be married to someone and they can still be a woman hater who treats women less than men. I just said well I'll be calling your manager later and he said better yet, why don't you talk to her now and he transferred me to her. I told her everything that went down and how he completely talked down to me and started yelling at me (over a silly golf cart) in true misogynistic way. Completely demeaning. The manager was sweet and apologized but No, I won't be taking my business there again.

He took his time showing me where the brakes were and how to gradually pull off and slow down! Highly recommend doing this activity! They didn't micro manage or anything. He did text us to see how we were making out and we appreciated the check in! Another time I had to reschedule. Now they don't normally do this but he did make an exception and apologized for the delay in their reply bc of my request to reschedule. I respected their guidelines and understood it but for him to go above and beyond to let us reschedule, showed us the professionalism of making their customers happy and satisfied with accommodating any customers request if it can be done. Again I highly recommend bayou rentals!

Called the Store of course it wasn't opened due to it being after 6 pm. Hired someone to fix it on Sunday, so were able to use it around 3pm. The person I was able to hire to fix it told me to just return it back to Hammond, but again, they were not opened. This cart was not serviced before renting, the oil was bone dry, one tail light was out and there was some type of shortage that caused it not to start. Sunday, they are not open either for any issues. They told me I should've emailed them when I addressed these issues when returning, so I was not compensated for any of these inconveniences.. instead, I was charged $250 for a dust scrap on the back right side I was wiping before even leaving but because they saw it, I was charged. I did tell a few friends where to rent one for events but I've also shared with them the issues I endured.
