We dropped in on a Monday evening (around 9:00pm) and it was still busy. The inside is huge with a plethora of seating. Service was normal for Dutch standards. The menu consists of pizza, pasta, antipasti, insalate (salad), dolce (dessert) and panini (only till 5:00pm). - Lemon radler (€3,75) - tasted like a carbonated lemon drink. They don't offer tap water so we ordered this instead. Meh. - Norma pizza (€5,75) - tomato sauce, ricotta salata cheese, grilled eggplant, mozzarella and basil. There was exactly one sprig of basil on our pizza. Barely any eggplant. Overall, the pizza was passable but the ricotta was very salty. - Salame e capra (€6,95) - rocket and mixed salad, spicy salami, goat cheese, balsamic dressing and pine nuts. Oddest salad I've had; completely overdressed (ask for it on the side), whole slices of salami (you do get a lot) and two whole chunks of goat cheese thrown in. Would not get this again. Big portions and cheap prices but HI is all about the quantity over quality spot. 2.5 stars.

Very similar to insalata caprese, except it is served with a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. Very rich and creamy - but share this with someone, it's a lot for one person. My three favorite dishes to order here for a main entrée are spaghetti alla carbonara, spaghetti alla bolognese and penne alla panna e prosciutto (pieces of ham in a cream sauce). They are all perfect portions and taste amazing. All meals come with bread and herbed butter. Limoncello makes an appearance every now and then sure dinner. The cappuccino here is also very good. Service is top-notch and with the dim lighting the atmosphere here is romantic and a little classy. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for some good Italian at a really nice place.

I mean, urine. Sorry, to be so crude, but honestly, it smelt like a toilet. Not a very conducive atmosphere for drinking or eating I'd say. The times I've been here, it depends very much on who you're with what kind of service you get. I'm getting the sense that they're very snobbish, something I don't like in my restaurants at all. There have been times when I was not with someone from the Eindhoven inner circle, that I'd have to wait for a good 15 minutes before someone brought me a menu. This, to me, is unacceptable. When I sit down to have a drink, I'm thirsty. When there are two other people on your terrace, you're just busy doing anything but your job. As I am Dutch (which is not always immediately apparent since I tend to have English conversation partners) I can overhear the staff when they think I can't ... let's just say I overheard some comments about our table that made me not want to return. I've been here with someone who was a regular and my experience that time was markedly different. Our table was ready, the waiting was prompt, the food was delicious, ... but .. still, I want the service to be like that even when I'm not your most important customer. I guess, I just get very annoyed at snobbery, and this place certainly can have a foul attitude!
