And while the facility itself isn't huge, it's incredibly clean with new, clean toys, and the overall feeling of the place is very comfortable and homey. The price for childcare is also very reasonable in comparison to other daycares in the area, and they also give options for limited days- unlike some other daycares in the area we discovered that only have options for full, 5-day care. The teachers are wonderful and very involved with the kids and their activities. They also have an app called Brightwheel that they upload info throughout the day on i.e. wet/dirty diapers, start and end of naps, how much food eaten from their lunch, etc. It's really great.... And it's also such a great feeling getting a surprise picture of my son playing or even just enjoying himself that one of the teachers took and uploaded for our family to see. Great place. Great teachers. Great atmosphere. Would recommend a hundred times over!!!!

She is organized and wonderful to work with in all areas, but especially in regard to payment and scheduling. During the summer, Sara works hard to plan field trip and awesome activities for the kids, keeping them entertained throughout. The staff is great, well trained, and most have been there for quite some time. They are also big on communication, using an app and in person, and I value that very much. I cannot recommend Kid's Connection enough!!

Tiny Tot has been the best decision I have made for my family. My husband and I, both educators,…read morevisited several day cares before choosing Tiny Tot, which came highly recommended by many of my friends and coworkers who have used them over the last 15 years. Mary Lou, Jackie, and Sharon are nurturing, attentive care givers for my three year old daughter (who has been with them since she was four months old) and now to our ten month old who has been attending for the last four months. Our oldest child absolutely loves going to school -- she misses it on holiday breaks and the weekends because she enjoys the craft times, reading books, helping to decorate the playroom or do other chores, and playing outside with her friends. At three, she can spell her name, recognizes letters and numbers, has an impressive vocabulary, can independently dress and take care of herself, and has better manners than kids far older. And as much as I would like to say we can take credit for it, I know so much of it is due to the care and personal attention she has received from Tiny Tot. Mary Lou, Jackie, and Sharon clearly love their jobs and these kids, who truly have become part of the family. They are firm with the kids never stern, and they insist that the older kids learn to help themselves as soon as possible. Our little one is so well cared for. For the babies, they rock and play with them, have circle time, and sing songs and practice movement. The holidays are so much fun at Tiny Tots -- they spend so much of their time decorating, practicing songs, creating crafts, etc. Just last week my toddler made a little stocking to hang on a mantle Jackie created and they spent time decorating a Christmas tree with colorful ornaments. My toddler cannot wait to tell me all about her day's experiences when I pick her up from school. Mary Lou and Jackie take pride in their facility and their professionalism. They openly communicate with parents and are upfront about any concerns or issues. I could not recommend them more.

In addition to daycare for babies and toddlers, they also offer an industry leading pre-school program for 3 and 4 year olds. Their curriculum is top-notch for early childhood learning, engagement and education. They work on fine motor skills, numbers & letters recognition, counting, manners, and much much more. Also, the Sandbox teachers are all very skilled, patient and loving, giving each child one on one time and attention - including the needed praise and guidance that is so very important for children's development. We're so happy and thankful for all of the wonderful teachers and administrators at Sandbox. They are our second family!

Hi, so I wrote this review a year ago. I'm not sure what there is to talk about in private, and why…read moreyou're responding to this now? I don't feel comfortable talking privately with you. You like alter the truth to fit your narrative. I tried to respond to your response. Your establishment left me and my husband without childcare without any notice at all because you hire people with no manors or respect and it's not the first time that's been done to a family. But that is ok because rejection is protection. The same teacher I complained about was fired months after I complained about her for taunting another student, but I guess our son didn't deserve that same respect in your eyes.. or meet the criteria? I'm not sure but I stand on what I said. She kicked my son's cot with her foot while he was laying there right by his head and left eye. Also not perception, I watched it on Watch Me Grow. This establishment won't pull the audio that I asked for because it would validate what we already know. Your response is exceptionally telling and it proved my point. You're sorry for "my perception of how things happened?" It's not a perception, it's what happened: things I've documented, things my husband and I have seen/ heard walking in there. Please let's not go here. I have literal videos of me recording my son getting out of our car to start his day, and you can HEAR how the teachers are talking to these small children on the playground. I've heard staff talk horribly about parents, about how the children are dressed I could literally go on forever. And the ONLY reason my son continued to go there for as long as he did was because of his infant teacher, and the teacher he had right before he was asked to leave. You asked him to leave because we called out your staff, not because of his behavior, which is also very telling. Our boy is sweet, so to have a grown women tell staff members that she didn't want to have a 2 year old in her class when he wasn't even in her class yet "because the parents are crazy ?!?" he's done nothing to her is absolutely insane. If you never noticed when his teacher wasn't there I kept him home with me because I didn't trust any other staff, which was exhausting . Your turn over rate is high because you will continue to hire people that are not qualified because you want to pay bare minimum. This daycare is truly a parents worst nightmare. You will continue to back your staffs bad behavior. I wish all parents knew how these small children that cannot are talk are talked to and treated and that's also not perception it's just reality. The entire school is a soap opera, and the staff cry to the owner as soon as they are called out. My son goes to an amazing school now where all of the teachers are required to have an actual degree and have extensive Montessori training to help them thrive and where we are appreciated as parents and not gaslit into believing we are seeing and hearing things. We're valued for wanting our son to be treated like a human. So funny how we've never had a single issue at any other school (he's been to 1 other daycare after this and now an actual school) except HT then again we don't have to tell the teachers how to treat our child here, and are treated like family instead of dollar signs. But keep talking about families and kids in your group chat. Talking about children and their families is so unprofessional and shows how miserable the staff is within their own lives and we are not that way and it's not the kind of energy we'd want around our family anyway. Take care. Please don't respond me to again.

Our child spent 3 years at the school, and it started out well but by the end of our time there we…read morewere glad to be done dealing with them. The teachers are nice and have a good curriculum, but it doesn't vary from year to year, so if your child goes for multiple years they repeat the same songs/experiments/projects every year. It is a private, not-for-profit school, and that is good and bad. The good thing is their is a volunteer Board that handles the finances, policies, etc for the school. The bad side of that is children with behavioral issues (physically aggressive with others, excessive crying from separation issues) take a large amount of time and attention from the teachers, leaving the rest of the students with less direct teaching and adult interactions. The first year there was a floater teacher/teachers aid that was very helpful in these situations, but that position didn't exist in the 2nd and 3rd year for us. We would have gone elsewhere for the 3rd year but Covid restrictions kept our preferred school from opening. The room has multiple stations that kids can choose to play with items like play doh/floam, a water station, painting, play kitchen, etc, so they choose where they spend time, and then there is something teacher-led for the children to interact with the teacher. It's nice for kids to pick what they do, but there isn't a structure in place to ensure kids participate in the teacher-led portion, and if that is where the true curriculum planned for the day or week happens, it's possible your child is just playing all day. That's fine for part of the time, but we found it happened a lot more frequently than we wanted. We were looking for social interaction as well as teaching kindergarten preparation skills, and we ended up teaching most of the skills at home. There was a change in the Director position during our time there, and we did not feel that the new Director had the same skills or strengths as the previous one, and we did not agree with the handling of classroom issues that indirectly impacted our child. Maybe with time this will improve, but we were often frustrated or disappointed in the processes in place.

We've been here since August 2011. My oldest daughter loves her teachers, all the activities, art,…read morereading and outside play time she gets. My toddler loves her teachers, being outdoors and singing songs. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and (for the most part) long term employees. My girls have the same few teachers day in and day out and the schedule stays the same with teacher(s) every AM and the same in the PM. I love the consistency of knowing who is with my girls every day. I also love all the creativity in activities, themes and lessons that are provided for the older kids! In the evening when I pick up my toddler all toys that have been "mouthed" by the kids are air drying on the counter after being cleaned. The facility is owned and run by two sisters (Palmira and Maria) who are on site every day. They split they day so one of them is there from open until close. I appreciate having the ability to ask a quick question or give an update directly to the owners for things like health care, forms, etc. They spend the summer months going through their supplies, games, puzzles and the facility while the enrollment is lower due to summer vacations and eliminate anything that might be missing pieces or damaged, replace and repair whatever can be that they haven't caught along the way and doing the minor repairs and upkeep necessary to keep any facility of this kind looking clean. This was appeal ling to me while I was visiting the site in the summer of 2011. They also have plans to expand a covered porch area for the younger kids to be able to get some fresh air even when there's snow on the ground. I also like that they are involved in the scholastic book club ordering for the older children and St. Judes Trike-a-thon and the MDA Hop-A-thon. It's made sharing lessons of charity, caring for others, and "paying it forward" staple conversation in our house. I have experiences with 4 different daycares thanks to changes in our circumstances (family expanded, job requirements, etc). and I'm extremely happy with this choice. I just wish they were closer to my home! The one drawback and that may be because of last years unusual wet season - there are a lot of mosquitoes and my oldest is a magnet! This year we'll be using a skin-so-soft sunscreen combo to try to prevent bug bites. Hopefully with the dryer winter this won't be an issue. FYI Parents provide as appropriate: Sleeping materials (sheet and blanket and lovey) All meals and snacks sunscreen (must apply at home in the AM, center reapplies later in the day) change of clothes diapers, wipes, diaper cream/powder bibs
