Anna's home buying approach fit perfectly with my basic understanding of the real estate purchase process. She took me by the (virtual) hand and guided me through the various elements I needed to understand. Her experience as an educator, real estate agent, and strong sense of her client's needs all complement each other perfectly. This coupled with Dennis' strong real estate analysis skills, understanding of construction, plus their well curated network of professionals, make them a powerful real estate team. I appreciate the journey we went through together starting with a lakefront home in wine country to going under contract for a multi-unit building in San Francisco and finally ending with the purchase of a 2-unit building in San Rafael. The real estate lessons learned overall have been invaluable and partnership unforgettable.

They prepped us on what to expect in the home buying process and provided us with the tools we needed to make informed decisions. Our search began in Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga and Walnut Creek but as we began narrowing down our wants and needs we ended our search in Alamo where we found our dream home. I am so grateful we went through our home buying process with Anna and Dennis. They really listened and encouraged us as we navigated the Bay Area housing market and sure enough, just as they said time and time again, each house that didn't quite fit would just bring us closer to "the one". If you're looking for professional, experienced, trustworthy people to assist you in finding your dream home, Anna and Dennis are the realtors for you. I cannot thank them enough for all they've done for us.

From the start, we could tell we were in good hands with Maeve. As first-time home-buyers we had lots of questions and even more questions we didn't even know to ask. Maeve either was able to answer our questions promptly or even conference us in with others such as architects to help us navigate certain issues as well. Maeve and our mortgage broker (having never met previously) also worked seamlessly together and as a team on our behalf. Their combined experience, and steady attitude was invaluable for us, considering the timing of our entry into the market. I would recommend Maeve and her team in without hesitation.

We connected earlier this year and our initial impression was she seemed to be on the up and up. Work with her has been an utter and complete NIGHTMARE. After we started working with her for a purchase in San Francisco her true colors started to come out. Everything quickly started to crumble as we continued on with her. It was very clear she wasn't interested in actually helping us out and representing our best interests. She kept pushing us to sign up with her mortgage broker, that's another review all together. So aggressive and insulting she was all while trying to push an offer on a property we continued to say time and time again we didn't want. She is all about herself and doesn't care about anything except making a commission. Stay as far away from this agent as you can. Unethical and not a good person by and by. You shouldn't even get one star!

After a short phone call, I immediately felt a connection, and it turns out that my intuition was right. At the time, I was also selling my home in the Peninsula, so things were hectic. Even though I have purchased a home before, San Francisco market is a mad house to navigate, it feels like with any good home, you are in for a gamble and I entirely depended on Cynthia for her knowledge and guidance. I tried Redfin initially and was quickly discouraged as they may be able to take you on tours, but there's no local expertise for how the market really works or if they can guide you to a winning bid. After seeing many homes, I had my heart set on a victorian house. But the night before the offer acceptance, I wasn't sure about the garage, having toured it a few times, I had a feeling my car actually may not be able to fit. Cynthia helped me arrange a test to see how my car would fit and if I can navigate in and out easily. As it turns out, indeed the garage was just too tight to fit my car and it would have been a big hassle. It's one of those things that maybe easy to overlook or ignore, after she has done all the homework to write up the offer, she advised me against it because she can see that I wasn't 100% happy. Surely it would have been easier for her to persuade me into it, but I felt like I had a friend and she treated me like one. Not long after, I found my dream home. Cynthia helped me write the winning offer and I couldn't be happier. Not only that, she helped me after with designer recommendations and checked in regularly. I think everyone would say real estate is a relationship business, but I don't know if all real estate agents can feel like real friends. I wholeheartedly recommend Cynthia and I am really excited for her starting Kindred Homes. You cannot go wrong with her on your side.

Wendy had a client relocating to the Bay Area who would be arriving a few days later. Given the demand for Crescent Park, I had 2 packed days of showings and knew the house would be rented before her clients landed. But Wendy sounded so kind and nice on the phone, I couldn't help but agree to keep her posted on the lease status. Without being pushy or irritating, Wendy's timing was impeccable. She and I spoke again right after my first choice had to back out given circumstances outside their control. I felt my backup candidates were not the right fit given the rental prices Crescent Park is able to command. Wendy's clients were exceptional - if I could clone them, I would. Wendy presented their qualifications professionally and fairly - her expertise and dedication to her clients was outstanding. Wendy is a residential Matchmaker - and very persuasive. While I have a "no pets" policy, I made an exception this one time for her exceptional clients. Throughout the different stages of the rental process, Wendy was always available to answer my questions, provide guidance, and offer valuable insights. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods in Palo Alto, the real estate market overall, and her expertise was invaluable in helping her clients make informed decisions. But what really makes Wendy stand out is her unwavering commitment to her clients. Wendy went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the rental process for her clients was smooth and stress-free, from providing technological expertise in moving from paper leases to DocuSign to logistics and closing. In short, I cannot recommend Wendy highly enough. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly exceptional professional to help you navigate the jungle-like listings from Zillow, HotPads, Trulia, Craigslist, etc., I would highly recommend Wendy to be your guide.

We actually met a couple of years ago in Pilates class, where she mentioned she was a realtor. When we finally started looking for a house, something just told me to reach back out to her -- and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made in the entire process. From day one, she was warm, gracious, patient, and unbelievably responsive. She somehow managed to make what could have been a stressful experience feel exciting and personal. One of the biggest moments was when she got us into a house we instantly fell in love with before it had even officially hit the market by bringing us through the broker walkthrough. We walked in and immediately knew: this was the house. Once we decided to move forward, things happened fast. She helped us secure a one-day preapproval, guided us in putting together a competitive offer without making us feel pressured, and navigated several tricky issues along the way with a calm confidence that kept us sane. At every turn, we felt like she genuinely cared about us as people, not just as clients. What stands out most is that she never made us feel like a transaction. She celebrated with us, reassured us when things got stressful, and helped us land a home that truly feels perfect for our family. We can't recommend her highly enough.
