I'm never too cold or too hot. The staff is friendly and welcoming! The atmosphere makes you forget you are at a dentist office! Scheduling appointments is super easy and the reminders are helpful. Dr Kern is the best dentist I have ever had! I have never felt any pain and she always explains things in terms that any patient could understand. She always asks how I am doing and remembers updates from 6 months prior. Elizabeth is the best hygienist! It's the little things like remembering the water setting that are most comfortable during my cleanings. 10/10 would recommend!

The hygienists are for sure kind and attentive. Drs spend 2 -5 minutes with patients. Last visit was super shady. First, I filled out the paperwork with medical information - totally appropriate for 6 month visit. None of my information has changed. AND THEN I was told I was required to complete an identical medical survey for a private company to access medical records that sold products for sleep apnea. I was told patients could leave the office without completing it by the front desk- totally unethical- there should have a been a disclosure form available around transparency and consent. As a medical provider, I was disgusted by their ruse and will not be returning. The overall care is adequate, but administrative practices are suspect.

I don't understand how an appointment can be canceled without notifying the patient. I have never missed an appointment, so I find this extremely frustrating and disrespectful. Several dentists say I'm the funniest person they'd ever met (this is not bragging, it's a pitiful confession) until they notice I've been in the chair for hours. But with Dr. Monteiro I didn't say one funny - she was quick, professional yet friendly, painless, took time to tell me what she was doing before she did it, and used lots of cool, state-if-the-art instruments. She and her dental assistant seem to almost read each other's thoughts and things get passed back and forth while I caught up on the "Help I Wrecked My House" show. I didn't leave em' laughing, but I exited with a smile.

Every single staff member I talked to yesterday was wonderful and genuinely cared that you walked through the doors and felt comfortable and welcomed. The office looks brand new and is sparkling clean. I did my teeth cleaning - where they had TVs in each of the patient corners- even one on the ceiling - which I thought was a really fun touch. When Dr Jason came in to check on me he found not one, but two cavities - the first ever in my life! He has an opening pretty soon after so I stayed and he took care of them 15 minutes tops. I walked out the door with a smile and a great swag bag of Shoreline Dental merch. This place is the real deal from top to bottom. I arrived for my appointment and the technician asked me if I had any other concerns which I did, he spoke with the dentist & she advised him to just take images of the teeth that I had concerns of. After the dentist met with me I went to make a follow up appointment regarding my sensitive tooth, I approached the receptionist desk where she was whispering to the receptionist. I was told by the receptionist that the dentist wanted Imaging of all of my teeth & she informed me that my insurance would not cover the x-rays and I would have to pay out-of-pocket reason being that the dentist requested only three images that were just taken by the technician. The dentist was well aware that I had not been to that office in one complete year, why wouldn't she advise the technician to take imaging of all of my teeth? When I asked to speak with the dentist all of a sudden she was busy. This is unethical on her part & quite honestly bad business, she was quite unlikable & made the impression that it was more about making money than giving great care, I will not be returning and I advise anyone to use caution when dealing with Shoreline Dental in Milford Connecticut! (Please take the time to check Shoreline Dental's reviews on Google as well there are quite a few with One star and people complaining about the Care that they received)!! There are plenty of dentists in the area that have reputable reviews!
