Cigaragua was suggested by a knowledgeable local and reinforced by some reviews I found online. The place is on a main street and easy to find. It is spread out on three levels, with the retail space at ground level, the humidor up one and the lounge down one. The space was clean and inviting, with the lounge being large and well presented. The humidor was extensive, but with a specialization in Nicaraguan-grown smokes. The prices were very fair, especially considering the shop is in a very touristy area of Amsterdam. The employee manning the place was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. He worked with me in the humidor to select a number of cigars that were right for my palate, but not familiar to me. While sitting in the lounge smoking one of my cigars, I enjoyed a glass of wine and a glass of port. It appears they serve a very basic selection of wine, beer, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. If you are ever in Amsterdam and in need of a cigar and a place to smoke it, you can do no better than Cigaragua. Highly recommend.

The employee was very friendly and welcoming. We were up front with her and told her that we wanted to get some cuban cigars to enjoy while we were in Amsterdam. She took us to their huge walk-in humidor and showed us the assortment of Cubans that they had available. If you are in the neighborhood I would recommend stopping in here.
