My experience with Valyou has been horrible. I ordered a sofa at the top of September and it's Nov 11 and I still have not received the sofa. The delivery date was pushed out again. They are basically holding my merchandise hostage. Thanksgiving is approaching, I've paid for a sofa that I have not receive. Their customer service is not helpful- promised a delivery that hasn't happened. Do yourself a favor- don't order from them. I don't know who they were but today their service sucks. The couch is perfect and exactly what I wanted. I did have some issues with delivery and timing. My delivery was scheduled for 9/8 originally, but on the day of 9/9, no delivery happened. I contacted their customer service and they explained about the delay in shipment. While frustrated, I understood and they made it right by offering me a girt card for the inconvenience. Still waiting on the gift card, but customer service was great. Overall, the couch is great, comfortable, and compact. I have no complaints. Reduced one star for the delivery issue. read more

The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because there was a mixup with my delivery date which made me have to send some emails and make a few calls. Having said that, Alexis & Co. took care of the issue and my sofa was delivered and assembled (quite quickly and professionally by John and Justin) on the right date, albeit a little later than the allotted time. The Australian sofa is great for smaller spaces, and you can't beat the price. All in all, I would recommend Valyou. read more

The first time we went to shop for a couch at the Ala Moana store, we met Tiffany who was very friendly and informative on the various pieces we looked at. She even recommended the 10% Yelp check-in discount. Their furniture was very stylish with great prices! We ended up returning to buy the 2 piece sectional. Delivery was free and it took about 2 weeks to receive. Luckily I was home when I received the text that the truck was on its way so I was glad to receive the sofa but it would have been better to be contacted prior to schedule the delivery on a specific day at the very least so I can make arrangements to accept the delivery. The sofa arrived in perfect condition in 2 separate boxes and the legs were quick and easy to assemble. My wife said she saw the same style sofa at another store for almost double what we paid. This company has it dialed in! After waiting 8 months for a custom sectional (from another company) that was discontinued (and therefore I never received it), I discovered Valyou Furniture. I ordered the 100" beige Feathers sectional and it was delivered within 3 weeks. The sectional feels like a cloud and the company's customer service is beyond exceptional, both during and after ordering and delivery. If you live in the continental US, they have a warehouse in Las Vegas so delivery is no problem. If you like their furniture, do yourself a favor and buy from this company! read more

Awful experience all around. buyer beware! I purchased a sectional on july 3rd only to find out within 7 hours the same couch was discounted $600 for 4th of july. I asked them to simply credit me back the $600 or that I would like to cancel my current order and just order the july 4 special. This was a huge headache to find a solution, which was pretty simply. I dont even want to begin to tell you about the delivery of shipping date of july 19 that clearly was never their intentions. This company is absolutely terrible. I ordered a bed in May 2022 that had a ship date of 5-7 days. I was given a tracking number the item never moved. After several weeks I called and spoke with customer service and was told that due to the item not meeting their "quality checks" it was held until a new shipment came in. That was understandable. The color I wanted the bed in was on backorder at the time. So I switched to a different color that I was told was in stock and was told it would ship in 5-7 days. Again I got a tracking number with a delivery date in early September. The deliver date came and went and still no bed. Then after speaking with a manager we were assured the bed would be shipped once again with a different carrier. We once again received a tracking number on 10/7/2022 and the item has still not been received by the carrier. It is listed as "order registered". At this point we are 5 months down the road, out $1200 and being told no refund can be issued as it is outside their 30 day window and if we could somehow get a refund it would take 90 days and be by check. Not the original form of payment. How it is our fault the order wasn't cancelled I have no idea, hmmmm maybe because we were strung along for months with lies. Horrible company. Stay away. read more

I would like to start off by saying how completely disappointed I am with this company. My husband and I were super excited to order our sofa and were told we would receive in 4-5 weeks, well that was May 14th and still no sofa. Every single time we called they gave us a different day or a different location as to where it was. LIES!!!!! At this point, we do not want it anymore. Horrible communication except when we asked for a refund, then they replied super fast saying they will not give us a refund only a store credit. Why would we order anything from them!!!! I have had this couch for several months now and I would rate the couch as ok. PROS: Nice looking couch and affordable. CONS: I didn't do my homework and it has goose down/ feathers materials. As a result has a smell that hasn't gone away. Also, the inside pillow liners is a thin material so the feathers come out and poke you. Out of all the furniture stores in town, this is probably my favorite! While some of their pieces are a little too contemporary for my tastes, their customer service agents are always willing to help me find approximately what I'm looking for according to the layout I have for my space in my head. They're both knowledgeable of their products and they balance out the salesperson persona: helpful but not overbearing. I've popped in their store a few times over the past year and recently purchased one of their top selling sectionals (which is probably the most comfortable pieces of furniture I've ever owned). Their agent helped me from the time I walked in the store with a vague idea of what I was looking for to the day it was delivered to my place. Their delivery service was also top notch. I was able to track where the delivery truck was in real-time, so I knew when I should be around; the team was quick and extremely professional (they even asked if I wanted them to remove their shoes before carrying my sectional into my place). I'm actually not sure if "Valyou" is fancy for "value" as in bargain furniture; the price range here is on par with other stores even though the actual products and customer service screams high-end curated! We love our 3-2-1 set, the look and feel is modern and perfect for our family that likes recliners. The customer service is a joke they keep changing their stories (they told me it was blocked in custom when it's coming from Hawaï!!), I had to call them to get any news they don't care about their customers and keep lying. UPDATE: My star rating remains. I drove down to the store to let them know of my frustration and was told by the sales associate that "she only does sales and has no information on logistics." Looked at me like she wanted me to disappear, then someone walked in and she greeted that person then her phone rang so she answered it and went outside. WTF. Another lady who was sitting at a table came up and identified herself as the store manager. She also said the same thing then asked what I bought. I told her the name of what I thought I bought but, since everything is online, why not just look it up. She finally did and then said there is only 1 note in there about the delay. Now she is calling me a liar? I pulled up all the emails and read them off to her. Why am I having to prove that they delayed the delivery 3 times. Then she said they couldn't call me because they don't have a number for me. Interesting since I created and account and also provided my address and phone number when I purchased it since how else would they contact me when it was to be delivered!????? She proceeded to tell me that they have 2 stores and, even if the items are shipped, there is no way to know how many people had ordered the same thing so she is not sure where I am in the queue. I am speechless at this point. You take almost $1000 and then tell me you cannot tell me where I am in the queue and I am at their mercy? Okay, I keep my mouth shut despite my furor. She promised to check and call me. Not holding my breath. About 5 minutes after I left the store, I get an email from their customer service manager because of my review below. She also promised me that she will keep updating me and said it is because of the pandemic. I told her the pandemic is going on 18 months so not knowing the challenges because of it is no longer an good excused. She then told me she will provide free the assembly of the furniture. I asked whether the sofa needed to be assembled because I was not told that and I was never told there would be a charge. She says it is unassembled. Not sure what is unassembled. The legs need to be screwed on? So I pay $100 for delivery, $95 for haul away of hold sofa and now I was going to be charged for assembly I was never told about? I have never received a sofa in pieces and I don't expect to this time either. But, again, these guys are in the Philippines so they have no idea what they are dealing with. I would have expected them to waive the delivery charge or something since it is taking so long and I have made 3 unnecessary trips back and forth. As I am writing this, the manager calls and says that she did contact logistics and they have 78 units coming and I was one of the first orders so I will definitely get my delivery. Well, thank god. She then says it is arriving on September 3rd and it needs to clear customs so they will get it the following week. I need to leave so not sure I will get it . I am really disappointed with my dealings with this company. I will update once I get (hope so) the delivery. read more

I purchased a promo deal but 2 get one Furniture for free on Black Friday 2020 LAST YEAR. My order was not completed I received the bedframe and the bed mattress but never the couch that cost me $1000. 7 months later I call to see what's going on. They say can deliver Sepetember. I have one year lease at my apartment. And no couch from today. So 4 weeks ago I asked for a refund. They say they give me $500 some cause did one promo deal. I said No I would like my FULL REFUND. Then they say they can give me 800$ that's as much as they can only PROCESS. Then they say they can't give me cash. I PAID FULL in cash in the store. I I would understand if I only bought three furniture's but I've bought at least 10 items from them. so In return for my value customer they like not give me my full refund for the couch they FAILED TO DELIVER on time.
