The price was right, the material is what you pay for, and Maria's service was exceptional. I ended up purchasing about $2,500 worth of items and delivery went flawless. I would not recommend Valyou Furniture or the Feather's Sectional. Customer service seemed excellent while we were in the process of purchasing - offering discounts and other types of advantages. We received and then finally unboxed our sectional and found that pieces were broken. They wrote off our situation, and refused to help - though their items are apparently covered under a "one year warranty." Received a Valyou coupon in the mail stating 20% off online orders that expires 9/15/20. Tried to purchase a sectional and sofa for $1,500 total before coupon. When I went to apply the coupon code of VP2007, the online site would not take it. I phoned and talked a girl over the phone. She had no idea of any coupon and stated she is unable to help me. Also asked about the 10% off that is stated on the coupon, and she said its only for in store. Told her stores were closed due to covid and if she can apply it to my order if I bought it today, and she said she cannot. Just strange and it felt that the business did not want me to buy anything. She recommended I wait until the stores open up after Covid and just walk in and try it. Kinda defeats the purpose of having online ordering. We were ready to purchase today. The worst company ever!!! To keep it short, I ordered a couch in December and never received it, and it is now July. They never emailed or called to tell me the couch got delayed months; they just left me hanging. I waited 7 months for simple couch, and they didn't even have the decency to tell me it has been delayed. They kept saying next month for 4 months. i finally had enough and asked for a refund, which they said would take weeks to get ahold of that dept. So, I finally got a refund confirmation, they said 7-14 days for a refund, it will be in my account. It is now 25 days and no refund. They keep saying 7-14 days... it is the same thing they have done with the couch. Just like the couch, I assume I WILL NOT see my money ever again. I ordered a sectional in May. The arrival date was set for the end of May. Then it got moved to mid June . Then again to the end of June. Finally, the date was moved to mid August. I contacted Valyou on June 15th to cancel my order and have my money refunded. I was told it would take 7-14 business days to process my refund. In an email exchange on June 19th. I was told the same thing. I reached out to them again on July 11th. I was once again told to wait 7-14 business days. I received a phone call on July 12th once again saying the same thing. Stay away! I regret not reading all the reviews. I have had a terrible and negative experience with Valyou. I ordered the famous Feather's Sofa back on 02/26/22. I was told it would arrive sometime in April. I kept getting false promised emails saying my feathers was on its way, they received new shipment, im closer to getting my feathers etc... Come June, I finally got tired of waiting. I was in communication with an escalation manager Ayden Bucas who quite frankly did nothing but say "Im sorry". She was not able to tell me when the sofa would arrive. She provided no ETA. She basically just didn't say anything. She just kept apologizing saying they don't have answers. I decided to cancel my order. She assured me she would expedite my refund so I can have it asap to purchase another sofa somewhere else. I receive an email on 06/22/22 saying I was issued a refund. Then she said if i didn't receive it by Friday of that week to call back. Well here we are now on 07/07/22 and still no refund. Again, I have reached out to Valyou and the escalation manager Ayden who again is NOT able to provide help nor resolve the matter other than to say she has been in contact with the finance dept. When I asked for the Finance Departments contact number, apparently they don't have a direct number and only she can reach out to them. She asked if I had Paypal to expedite my return. Gave her my PayPal information and still no return. In the end she advised I should just file a dispute with my bank. Honestly this company is the worse! Only if they have furniture in stock, will you get it on time. Otherwise, good luck waiting months and months and no ETA on any other pieces of furniture not in stock. Also they keep your money so if you try to return an item or request a refund, good luck as they give you the run around and all they do is say "Im sorry" but yet do nothing to help nor give you your refund. I will be in contact with the Better Business Bureau because from reading other reviews, this is a trend in which they don't give a refund and instead ask customers to file disputes! Something is not okay about that. I find it appalling and almost disturbing how they do nothing to help and providing no resolution. There is no direct corporate number other than a main number with other representatives who serve as the middle messenger person. Like who are the main managers or people in charge that are sitting behind the scenes and not stepping up to intervene in such a situation when needed. Never again!! I went to kakaako showroom ordered and paid in small sectional couch on early July, they told me expected delivery July 29th. And few days later I received an email that my order will arrived in HI on Aug 5. Then Just day before expected delivery day, I got another email and scheduled to be delivered another few weeks. I purchased a TV stand (sideboard), 2 night stands, the Charm 2.0 bed, ladder mirror, and a dresser from Valyou Furniture back in January of 2021. I found their furniture on Facebook Marketplace (which is honestly GENIUS marketing!) and I was greeted with one of the best salespeople on their team: Maria. She was/is outstanding and she was always so helpful with any questions or concerns I had. When I purchased the sideboard, the second box didn't arrive, so she connected me with the resolutions team and they sent out the second box with a gift from their store for my troubles. I also had issues with the sideboard's doors not aligning properly, and like before Maria went into action and got a crew out to my house NEXT DAY to get it fixed. Now the pieces in my home look fabulous. I constantly get comments and questions about each piece. I'm very happy with my purchase. I ended up selling the dresser on FB marketplace as it didn't meet my storage needs, but all the remaining items I've kept and plan on keeping for a very long time. The Charm Bed is a GREAT DUPE for the Thurma which is double the price! So I'd highly recommend this company for purchasing your items. Try to bundle and save though. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a set of supposedly brand new 4 white Valmes chairs. Once it arrived the box had substantial damage both on the inside and outside. In addition to this, ALL 4 of the white, supposedly brand new, chairs all had significant dirt stains and several scratches. On top of all of this the assembly instructions were just a single diagram which was incredibly unhelpful and when we tried to access the QR code for "How to put together" it led to a blank website page. If this all wasn't frustrating enough, ALL 4 of the hardware packets were each missing 4 of the needed hardware pieces for a total of 16 missing parts. Calling the showroom offered very little assistance and was also not helpful. Overall very disappointed with the product, delivery, and customer service. Zero Stars. You can find better furniture at Target or Ross. Don't waste your time and money read more

Everyone I talked to has been super nice and helpful (even though my calls would take on average a hour and I was on hold for the majority of it) except for the "logistics department" who couldn't quite decide if they actually had my table in their warehouse or not - their answer would change every time I called - yes they had, no there has been a delay, here's a change of date.. wait for the email! (Which would never come). Luckily when I called to asked for a refund they said they could refund the full amount but it would take 2-3 days... this seems a little long to me and I don't quite trust their word without an email confirmation. I'm just so bummed that their furniture turned out too good to be true. You cannot take full payments of thousands of dollars and then act like I'm the crazy one for following up asking about my piece. read more
