HORRIBLE from start to finish. They came to drop the bed off. They let the delivery people use their own cars. He forgot the parts so I could not let my mom come home from rehab. will begin by saying that from day ONE I am not happy with your company. Your delivery guy came in his very unorganized van and forgot parts for my mom's bed. She was due home that day, but we had to keep her an add'l day, which cost me $550.00 Two weeks ago, you sent us a text and said the technician was coming. We waited 3 1/2 hours and he never showed up. My husband took off work. Last week, your technician called and gave us a 1/2 hour notice. We said we could be there in 40. He said he couldn't wait. WHAT HAPPENED TO ONE HOUR'S NOTICE? You then scheduled the appt. for today 10/31/25. Then you called 10/30/25 and said he would come 10/30/25. I took off work AGAIN AND LOST MONEY and he never showed up. Last night at 4:35 pm, I contacted you and you said he was coming today. You said it was a miscommunication. You said because of this inconvenience, you will give us a 9 am appt. It is 11:17 am and still nothing. I told you from the start my mom died 10.1.25. I told you her lease is up TODAY. I will have to now pay add'l days. AGAIN, your company costing me MORE MONEY. THIS SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS. I am sick of you apologizing for the inconvenience. An apology is only as good as making it right. My mom died! Do you understand what my family is going through and then losing money because of your company's incompetence and hiring people that use their own car and have no stake in whether something is picked up or not. You have not returned the supervisor phone call. Instead you keep lying to me. from day ONE I was not happy with your company. He said he'd try to comeback later. He had a service call. I am on the phone again trying to resolve this. And your system to leave a # and you call back - well, that doesn't work. NEGATIVE STARS. An absolute disgrace of a company. Our mother passed on 7/1 and we have a living room full of equipment that was never used and have been going around and around with them about picking it up. First we were told that they are only in the areas on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we would be scheduled and it's marked "urgent", no one called us to schedule or say they're coming. Then we were told pick up today, a Sunday, no less, between 9-5. NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! There's no one to call as it's Sunday and business hours are Monday-Friday. Absolute atrocity! read more

Zero Stars. They are the most unprofessional, unknowing, disorganized, difficult to work with, customer service is non-existent. If you are on hold and listen to their taped message about who they are and what they represent, you'd be appalled once you actually deal with them. Avoid them at all costs. read more

I am the caretaker of someone who as ALS and have had several dealings with Valmar Surgical in regard to an electric bed. Their customer service is poor and when ask to speak to a supervisor, you are refused contact. I am in the process of returning the bed and on several occasions no one has shown up to pick up the bed when promised. This is not a company I would choose to work with again if there was another choice. Catherine S read more

The skilled nursing facility that was rehabbing my 101 year old mother ordered a wheelchair from Valmar in March 2024. The wheelchair was delivered at the end of March. The cost of the wheelchair was qualified by Medicare. It soon became apparent that this particular wheelchair was not suitable for my mother- too big, too heavy, physically exhausting to maneuver. At the direction and request of Valmar, my mother's attending physician prepared a detailed specific letter of medical necessity to effectuate a wheelchair exchange. Even after we complied with Valmar's documentation request, they refused to provide a suitable replacement( they did offer to sell us a second wheelchair) I facilitated 2 three way phone calls with Valmar and Medicare- again Valmar refused to offer a no cost exchange, despite the fact that Medicare advised that the wheelchair swap was authorized as a medical necessity. Medicare has filed a complaint against Valmar on our behalf. A complaint has also been filed with the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey read more

I can't even justify giving this company 1 star. They screwed up my order for oxygen and the people that answer the phones are completely clueless. They did not set up the equipment nor tell us how to use it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY read more

Impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone, no matter what option I choose. There is no "live representative" to chat with. It should not be this difficult to arrange for the return of equipment. They tout themselves as being so responsive and caring to the needs of customers, but I am finding the opposite to be true. Hope I never have to deal with them again. read more

This is the most unprofessional, incompetent service to ever exist. You will never receive your supplies and in the event that one lucky month arrives when you finally do; it's all incorrect and late. All physical existence of thos place has shit down. Due to incompetence of course. They are now only operating online. Shut down already, clearly this business isn't being ran professionally and you don't have a passion for assisting those in need of medical supplies. read more

a rollator walker was order for me from the nursing home i was in and i never got it. i had to walk with a cane and almost fell down few times. all types of excuse and takes soooo long on hold to get a person to speak too or leave your number and have someone say you never answered when they called. read more

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Read the other reviews. They are very similiar to mine regarding delivery, miss-matched parts for a electrical bed. I finally got a supervisor. The customer service people are curteous and reach back out, but, they can't seem to correlate the email and phone calls so it is like you are speaking to them for the first time each time. It seems they can't get enough beds to provide for the sales that come their way. In my oppion this company doesn't know what they are doing and should hire a very very good district manager and or regional manager who understands the medical supply business very well and can monitor inventory in their warehouse and the process from first interaction with the person ordering to final destination. It was painfully frustrating dealing with them. Never, ever again! read more

They are HORRIBLE!!! You can only speak with the a customer service Rep who does not understand english. Because she acts as the go between, most of what you try to convey is lost in the translation, they she lies to cover or circumvent your concern. All they do is constantly apologize for their shortcomings. They certainly does not care about the consumer. read more

I wish I can give them a zero still waiting for my mother pull-ups and still waiting for them to switch out her top chair. I can see they're reading my messages and not even responding. I'm contacting her insurance company because I believe they're trying to get over they got the wrong person. I will be doing a follow up and trying to find a different company to use. I'm not dealing with this nonsense. read more

Buy anywhere else. Ordered HIP kit for my home rehab from broken hip on 4/4. Was told it would ship on 4/7 with delivery by 4/11. Called on 4/12 and was told it would be delivered next two days. Called again on 4/15 looking for tracking number only to find out order was NEVER shipped. CSR promised he would get it shipped/delivered by 4/17. Box came 4/17 but kit did NOT include two most critical items - dressing tool and leg lifter. Rehab center had told me to order kit with all necessary tools from them for $50, so I had no idea that needed items would not be included. CSR never mentioned that there were more than one HIP KIT type. Other than sock assist tool, rest of kit was cheap garbage. Pickup tool shorter and not as easy to use and the $4 one I had previously bought on a whim at a Dollar store, which I had been using for the two weeks prior to delivery. For $30, Amazon offers a FAR superior HIP KIT with better and more tools (including the ones I was missing). So overwhelmed with move to rehab in my house that I did not investigate further before ordering, since I needed kit for rehab. Do NOT trust your rehab center for order reference and DO NOT order from this sub par supplier read more

We are supposed to receive supplies for my 93 year old mother monthly as they are the supplier for Medicaid. They are late every single month no matter what! Dependably undependable, ugh! read more

This company is absolutely awful, customer service reps are totally rude, can't speak english plainly, put you on hold and never return back to the call. Getting an item(s) returned is almost impossible, they'll give you a pick up date but never keep it, had to call three times to set up a pickup. The driver finally came but refused to take the item back, because we didn't have original packing. It had been explained to Valmar that when the item was delivered, the driver took the boxes away with him. Also, tried to get some technical info on the hospital bed ordered via a direct email, on line chat, & customer service, still waiting for a reply. read more

The call service is a joke. They used to be great no issues. That has significantly changed. I do not believe they have any office staff anymore! I think they went fully online ordering and you ONLY speak to people Philippines. The last time Michelle was in office was 9/26 she never called me it's 10/02. My Dr sent the script 9/9. I was suppose to have a new in office fitting. I am still using the same old mask and tubing. Ever since this Valmar company took over..straight down the drain. I would steer clear especially if using Military Benefits, there is better options in town. If I don't get this resolved I am taking my business else where. Stop being a small business wanting support and then moving jobs that could be for stay at home parents here supporting one another and moving them overseas. I want to do business with people who offer customer personal service not 1 hour on a call, and when I ask the person "is that what you just said" they say "i don't know". read more

Terrible customer service. I've called several times in the last week to get info about my aunts Rx approval. They told me to fax it which I did. They never received it. Then they said email and I stayed on the phone to make sure they received the email which they confirmed they did. They said they'd get back to me. They didn't. When I called back, they said they never received the email and promised to call back by the end of the day - and they didn't. Poor customer service. read more

They are a bunch of incompetent people preying on the vulnerable. Good luck getting customer service from their barely English speaking reps from another country that repeat nonsense over and over, never addressing your concerns. read more

I highly recommend working NOT with this company. I was in a horrible nursing home that provided a wheelchair for me to use while inpatient and when I returned home. The NH instructed me that I owned the wheelchair. After many months, Valmar called me to say I had been renting the wheelchair and had not purchased it. I explained the information I was given. The person I spoke to requested that I pay until that call for the rental, which I did. I have since received calls regarding this situation and was essentially called a liar. The person's attitude towards me was unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. A statement of account would have been helpful for me; however, apparently, that is not their practice. Orders come on time every month but they recently changed brands of the diapers they supply and they are awful. They don't absorb, they are very rough on the skin, and are overall not good for sensitive, aging skin. it is very simple and easy to order items for my residents when they are ready for discharge.

On March 7, 2023, I received a call from this company. On August 9, 2022, they delivered three items. Allegedly. I didn't arrive at signature senior living until September 2, 2022. When they started harassing for payment and thoroughly questioned them as to WHY would they deliver items when the patient isn't at the facility yet? They said that they were in the right. I blocked them from my phone. I closed my bank account and went to a different bank. These people sound like there foreign and think they're right. They can try but won't succeed from getting a penny out of me. read more

Someone in a facility incorrectly ordered supplies for a relative and somehow this became my problem and I kept getting called by this company. I kept telling the reps to call who ordered the supplies as I had not. I finally cancelled the order that I had not placed, but one item had slipped through. I told them that I live over five hours away, so I did not know where the missing item was located. Where did they deliver it? I suggested again that they call the facility where it had been delivered to find the item. Yet, they kept calling me. When they finally called who ordered the supplies it was 20 days later and the item was located. By then I had also located the item for them. Now it was time to schedule a pick up. I had to chase down contact information and spoke to representatives four times just regarding the contact information. I had multiple representatives calling me at the exact same time. The representatives were sweet and kind and apologetic, but twelve phone calls later, I still do not expect this saga to end. Totally inefficient and helpless organization. I understand that another facility caused the issue and I even called that facility and told them to solve this problem. But, calling a relative who lives far away over items not ordered by that relative and expecting a solution made no sense. read more

Do not use this company. Especially, when you and your family are struggling with a relative who is ill and needs attention. Impossible to contact them by phone. Deliveries have no time wondow so you have to sit waiting for up to 9 hours. AWFUL especially as my father just passed away. read more
