I have one rule for all businesses and that is, be open during your listed business hours. Whether a local volunteer organization or a corporate chain, the bare minimum that you should do is be open during the hours you list on your own building. I arrived at Valley Thrift a little after 4:30pm and well before their closing time of 4:45pm. Their sign said Open. I walked in and was told by the woman at the register that they were closed. I looked at my phone and confirmed it was well before 4:45pm. I planned on seeing if they had any DVDs I wanted and, if not, I'd planned to leave a $5 dollar donation. Shame I did not get a chance to do either. I guess they do not need my business or donations, so they'll receive neither. I can't comment on the prices, service, or store's contents, but I can say they don't stay open during their own posted hours. I want to leave 1 star, but I'll try not to wreck their rating and leave 2. read more
