Salam Alaykum. It's been years since I've been to this masjid. The last time I came (almost a…read moredecade ago), they were still using the old building. Although address remains the same on the website, the service is actually held in the building directly opposite to where the gps will take you. It's a pink building with a huge parking lot and a gate. I got to the masjid about 10:50 because the service time was listed as 11am, but it actually doesn't start till like 11:45 am. Expect some 'African time' We were handed prayer books so it makes it easy to follow the recitation especially if you don't know the words. There's a kid's room which is great because it allows their parents to focus on the service. The service is done in both Yoruba and English. Food, snacks and water were also handed out after Zuhr prayers. I recommend coming to this masjid especially if you're looking for a sense of togetherness. They make everyone feel welcomed

Today is my first time here and will most likely be here for Jumu'ah prayer in future if I am close to downtown Dallas. The mosque community has a program called "Feeding out neighbors" where the volunteers arrive at 9:30 am every Saturday and Sunday. The Imam is a great teacher, and the community is sincere. The size, beauty, and membership in a mosque is a reflection of the believers who belong to it. If you dont like how it looks, rather than criticize it, donate and contribute to it. Join the community and become an asset. Establish an economic branch among the men, or committee that can make upgrades to the landscape and amenities. There is currently an effort to build a nee Mosque on the same grounds. May Allah reward their efforts.

Decent size mosque with private parking lot. Madina Academy on one side. The prayer area is specious and nice green carpet all through the two sections. One thing I have noticed that there are no lines on the carpet and that creates a some confusion among everyone about where to form the lines during the short time between end of Khutba and start of prayer. Also, it takes time to form straight lines. It will help if management adds some type of marker to form the straight lines. He accused me of being the problem because I am not Muslim. The conversation felt forced and oppressive. He then proceeded to question my faith and change the conversation to me rather than my bf. When I explained to him my bf threw glass at the wall out of rage of fasting the Eman blamed me and said my bf life will be miserable as long as he stays with me and that he shouldn't be with me. This type of experience is not the love I receive at my Church. I was invited to this mosque in November 2023 when I started my spiritual journey. I have the right in America to choose and I did not choose to be Muslim but, I have supported and respected Muslims, even my bf. The Eman said he doesn't help people who reach out to him who are calling to connect Muslims who are struggling and who are dating a Christian. Then he hung up on me. The Eman here is a leader at this Mosque and I feel so sorry for any woman and female who experiences this person. He is not a respectful or peaceful leader. I would run away from behavior like that.
