Wonderful stop in Milbank, SD to learn about cheese and the Swiss heritage of the founders of this cheese empire. All age appropriate learning areas (including the younger ones). Learning about Swiss culture in South Dakota sounds weird, right? Well in 1929 two Swiss immigrants started making cheese and today Valley Queen is the Big Cheese in the area! Best of all, they have blocks of their wonderful cheeses and reasonable prices! Check it out if you're in the area! read more
