We sold our home and the buyers used Valley Mortgage for their FHA loan. The closing date was set for over 1 month in advance and the day before we were to close, we got a call stating that Valley Mortgage didn't have all the paper work and would need to push the closing date out one day. That day came and we were told that they still didn't have all the required documents ready for closing and they needed another day. A hour before we were scheduled to close, we get a call from our Realtor stating Valley still were not ready to close and it would be the following week. The next week came and we were told they needed one more day. Well we finally closed 8 days later than scheduled which cost us some money in interest but at least it was done...So we thought! Just got a call from our Realtor again the other day (about a month after the close date) explaining that Valley Mortgage forgot to have us sign a document that needs to be notarized. So, we have to take time out of our day to go to their office to sign yet another document. I'm so glad that we didn't use them for our lender!!!
