The waiting area is very aesthetically pleasing and the person on the front desk warmly welcomed me. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience here. It wasn't particularly Dr. Wiley's fault, but I did feel completely rushed out of my appointment, but pressured to immediately put a card down before I could be seen by the tech who checked me in. I was seen for exactly 9 minutes. That's not to say Dr. Wiley wasn't thorough, but it felt like I was only good for dollar signs. As I said, I was not allowed to be seen unless I registered a credit card with them. As I only have a debit card, I requested before they charge my card if they could please call me. This did not happen. They charged me and didn't even email me a receipt. So when I followed up with them on the phone requesting a receipt to be sent via email, the conversation was rather hostile, until the person read in my notes that I had requested a call prior to being charged. They then became very apologetic, but unfortunately the previous customer service experience can't be erased. Again, this is why I felt like I was only good for dollar signs and won't be going back. 2.5 rounded down.

However, the team at Signature Medical Spa made sure that I left happy with my results, even providing me with free follow-up care. Now I'm thrilled with my results and so glad I decided to go to them. Details below: Upon expressing my concerns after my first procedure, the staff at Signature Medical Spa had me in right away to take pictures and try to understand why my results were so short-lived. They couldn't figure out a precise reason why, which makes sense. Lip injections are very individualized and sometimes the filler just doesn't work well for you. Dr. Straka concluded that I was right -- I did not receive the results I had hoped for. Therefore, the spa offered to re-do my lips at zero charge to me. I was really astounded they were so committed to my satisfaction, as this is not an inexpensive procedure. The second time I got my lips done by Dr. Straka, my experience was much better. The pain wasn't so bad and I felt like she paid great attention to detail. It has been about a month and a half now, and my lips still look great. My close girlfriends are coming up to me asking how I am getting my lips to look so luscious! None of them expect that I'll say injections because they look so natural, albeit noticeably fuller. I love wearing fun lipsticks now and feel like my face looks much more feminine. I'm ecstatic with my results and recommending to all my friends to come here! I recommend the staff at Signature Medical Spa for their lovely demeanor, understanding, patience, professionalism, and ability to deliver great results. They easily could have just counted me as a loss and moved on, but instead they made every effort to ensure I was happy with my results. Now I will be a long-term customer. They are clearly making conscious efforts in the right direction by prioritizing customer care. 100% give them a shot!

I…read moresee the first review for this practice said they went to the wrong location, but when I called to make the appointment they let me know that the doctor taking new patients was located in the Charlottesville office and verified I knew there were two offices and that I had the correct address. I was very nervous going in, knowing it was very likely I would need to have a spot on my face removed, which I did. My appointment was one of the last ones available that day (so I would only need to leave my office around 30min early) and they were still able to fit the procedure in that day. Dr. Zeller was very kind and talked me through everything. The actual procedure was relatively painless and I left with instructions on caring for the wound and offered a free wound check appointment if needed. My wound healed very well so this wasn't needed. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone in searching for a dermatologist.

It's very large office. I'm sitting in an exam room and I needed to use the restroom when I went out to ask first of all no one paid attention and they acted annoyed when I disturbed them to ask them if I could use the restroom where is it and she just flippantly pointed her finger and said you have to go outside and down the hall by the elevators so in this very large office with many physicians and procedures you need to tell me you don't have a bathroom for your patients to use. What happens if one of the doctors wants a urinalysis, are you gonna tell them here take this pick up and go out in the hall and down by the elevators there are a lot of elderly people that come to cardiology offices and you're gonna tell them that they have to leave the exam room, actually leave the office go down the hall and around by the elevators to use a restroom. That is the most ridiculous thing in an office that I have seen yet that is extremely poor. patient care it's bad enough you get treated like a second class citizen when you come to the doctors, but when the office staff treats you with disrespect when I went to let one girl know that I was going to the bathroom I'd be right back she flipped her finger too instead I'm on the phone. How am I supposed to know you're on the phone? You don't have a phone in your hand. The thing is there was no courtesy. There was no niceness. There was no hospitality. There was no patient care I can't be more upset right now that I feel like walking out of this office bad enough we have to sit and wait for them cause they're always behind but God forbid you have to use the bathroom. You better go before you come here.
