We went…read moreto the Cox Pkwy Branch and if it had not been for their kindness and willingness to help us, and trust me this was a time consuming preocess, we would not have made it.The hotel had our account in a mess. We were tired, limited on funds, had no idea if our home was still standing etc. This staff felt like family. When Brian completed the process and i got in my car, i set there and cried. I thanked God for those employees that comforted us and was truly concerned about us and went that extra step for us. God bless that staff. The branch manager for Florence branches, Adam Collins, messed up my title…read more(used lightstream) causing me to not be able to get a tag for my new car, which was purchased in TN. It's been over 2 months and I still have no title. Which means I can't drive the vehicle I purchased. I've called weekly asking for updates and if I can even get him on the phone he has nothing and refuses to check with the state because "he has to be on hold for an hour." Most recently he told me if I had the vin number I could call them myself. I'm beyond furious with them. This is the worst bank I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and we've beem loyal SunTrust customers for almost 6 years. I explained to him that the second vehicle was purchased because my husband was working in New Orleans and I'm a stay at home mom. I've had to move to Nashville with family because although I'm paying for a second car, I can't drive it. AVOID SUNTRUST AT ALL COSTS.

The Wells Fargo branch in Florence, Alabama is not a very friendly or comfortable branch to walk…read moreinto or to do business with. First of all this particular branch has a very high turn over rate. At least 70% of the staff quits after less than a year. Secondly, you cannot build a working relationship rapport with any of the bankers. They won't have it. They are instructed not to do it. It is not about customer service. It is about getting you in to open an account and that is it. I happen to know several customers at this branch and they have shared their very unsatisfied experiences. The staff are all at edge with those who are above them and who give them orders to follow. Upper management is poorly operated and it shows as you trickle on down to the banking staff with their behavior. Actually, when I visit this branch which I very seldom do because of the grilling and attitudes of the staff, I see the unhappy faces of those at the teller area and even the incompetent bankers who work at a snails pace in their cubbyholes. Thirdly, the lobby at this particular branch is very depressing and nasty. ,Nothing is uplifting. Nothing is pleasing there to observe. You will only witness at least one dozen cameras floating around. Walk into the lobby of Bank Independent and you will feel like you are in your living room at home. The ambience is very welcoming and comfortable. They really try and they really take pride of who they are as a finance entity. And they want the customer to feel accepted. Not true with Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is too busy scamming as they did recently in the past and were busted for and had to make up the damage for damaging many of their customers. I only have a checking account at Wells Fargo and that is all. I would never get involved beyond this with that bank until they prove themselves to me that they value the customer first and that means building a sincere banking relationship. This alone means someone stepping up and cleaning the headstrong mess of upper management. Nothing positive is going to happen until there is a change with upper management. Until then you will see very unpleasing and unhappy faces of staff who will even go out of their way to blow you off if you were asking banking questions so as to understand something. Even if I call this branch it is so hard trying to have a conversation with them about a banking concern. They take minimal interest in what you have to say. There is a old maxim out there: "If you are not getting better you are getting worse for the only constant is change." Mr. Vogel

i've been coming here, making deposits for the bussiness i've worked forever doing…read more ever since sylvia, has been at the drive thru, i'm having to fill out things, i've never had to do, sign things, idk why, now, an i.d. .. i'm literally here all the time. sylvia is slow and if you happen to come, if you see its, sylvia, come back another day...
