If you love your family and children please STAY AWAY from this church…read more I tried posting mt full experience with this church but it was too long. I will try and share the quick facts and if anyone has any question or are curious about the full story please feel free to reach out to me. My 19 year old daughter met a boy who is attending the Bible College at the end of my street which is affiliated with this church. He is an active member and belongs to this church. After one month he took her home to a different state to meet his family who are also members. He asked her to marry him while there. Since she has been home she now spends every single minute of every single gle day at this church with him. Believe me we share locations I watch her go to and from my house to this church 5 to 10 times spending large amounts of time 7 days a week. Since she has been apart of this community I will share the things that have changed. She was a full time college student at Copper Mountain. She was a full time employee working for one of the airlines in Palm Springs. She had a savings account. She was independent. We had a strong loving open relationship judgement free. She now will only spend time with me as long as I become apart of this church. Regardless if its an actual service or activities including nothing but church members. I have explained to her that I do not feel comfortable. We have different views due to me being catholic which she was also baptized catholic. She refuses to accept my reasoning and continues to pressure me into attending. I contihne to refuse to now she no longer respects me or my house and has included her fiance in making me feel extremely judged and uncomfortable in my house. I decided to put my foot down. Told her she needed to start giving me the same respect I give her. That I continue to let her be her own person whoever that maybe and just because we have different views doesn't mean I love her more or less and do not judge her. When i asked her that I need her to do the same, plus 5 small chores that are expected of her to live rent free in my house. Which are take the trash out, those kinda things. Her response was to scream in my face tell me she hates how I act and who I am, she's leaving and moving out because we are different people that she know longer feels a connection with me and her church community are who she feels a connection with because they are the same. These are her knew family not me. So I wont ever hear from her or know her kids when she has them. Guess what less than 24 hrs all of her belongings were packed and put into a uhual and she has a safe rent free space to live and can take a dog there too. My daughter has or should I say had a great job but she has been apart of the shut down. She has been depending on me to pay her bills. Because she no longer has a savings or a penny to her name. She also let me sister know she will be leaving to her finances home state to live on his church grounds in 3 days. She will be abandoning her job without giving her two weeks notice So who rented her a uhual, who's letting her live for free. I think we can all put two and two together. At least the people who aren't brainwashed can. Please read the attached information I have provided. Please convince me otherwise. I watched each one of these steps take place in 4 months. It only took them 4 months. If it happened to my strong independent child it can happen to anyone's kid.

I was really afraid to go back to church after a bad experience i had in another town but this…read morechurch is truly different. Extremely kind staff. The pastor is engaging and nice to listen to. They have ministries for almost everything you could ever need so it really does build community. The only thing I feel is lacking is I used to attend a divorce support group here that was fabulous but apparently they no longer offer that and I think its something they really should offer as its a demographic that is often overlooked by churches. But kudos to this church for having it in the past and for all the other wonderful things they do for the community.

Crossview Bible Church What makes a great church? Is it…read morefresh coffee and pastries? Is it the music? Is it the message? Is it the time in the Lord without the distraction of our children? Let's look at this together. My family and I were looking for a place to come home to in the wake of COVID. I had run a large home church during COVID, but we wanted a place where each of us could be blessed and ministered to. We had, over the course of our lives, been to many churches both as members and as guests and certain things hold true. Refreshments A hot cup of coffee and a doughnut hole is nice, but I don't need a coffee house with a cliche or catchy name to come closer to God. At Crossview we swing by the old K'cup machine not to go, but to stay, talk, and love one another. Music My wife is an accomplished musician and there are some churches in our area with amazing bands. The lights, the guitar chords, the reverberating amps! A great show is entertaining and can really lift the spirits, but at Crossview there is one thing that amps us up and it is the word of Jesus Christ. We have guitars as our highly talented team leads our worship, but the real chords that we are concerned with are the chords of our heart. Most of all, at Crossview, we have only one light, the light that guides us down the path of life-Jesus Christ. Message A great speaker full of power and training is a joy. You will play in back in your mind again-and-again during the week to help strengthen your faith and lift you up. Pastor Daniel Hanna does an excellent job of lifting up his congregation but he isn't a one man show. Crossview has an all star cast of speakers that come here not only from across the country, but from places as far as Madagascar! Daycare Crossview is developing a plan to create teachings that meet the needs of families at every age; however, we also believe that it is important to have the entire family to sit under a teaching together. We believe that it's not enough to be on the same page, but the same chapter and the same verse. So which is it? Refreshments, music, daycare? While Crossview has all of these, the strength of this church is it's family. Pastor Daniel teaches us again and again that we are a family in Christ and it's not what we receive, but what we give. It is not about others doing for us but us serving Jesus Christ. It is a church of love, of family, and of growth in Christ our Lord. *This is an honest, open review by someone whose family is in no way employed by the church.
