I'm only reviewing this to note it has the cheapest gas in the area (including santa clara), maybe except costco. I have had no issues getting gas and it might be a little bit slow, but I haven't had issues with it. The only thing to note is the pumps on the corner/street side can be difficult to get in and out and around. Becareful there or you'll get trapped there. The lot is too small for the pumps and due to the low prices, it gets super full often and is hard to navigate. You may have to pre-plan how you want to get in and out of this place. read more

There is no sign if car wash is out of order. Bought a car wash with gas but didn't know the car wash was out of service so you have 2 weeks to redeem and no refund. There should be a sign if car wash is out of order when you get gas. It's troublesome if you don't live in the area. read more

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. Came in as I needed gas and couldn't go to my lovely Chevron. I walk in and the lady gives me a weird look. I just stopped by this gas station to pump gas because I saw that they have an air pressure machine. It's great since my tires are low on pressure thought I pump and also get my tire pressure up to right psi. After pumping gas I pulled into the parking spot to pressurize my tires. Went inside to ask the clerk to turn on the machine. She looked at me in what seems to be like a demeaning manner. Asked me if I pump gas to which I replied yes I just did. Then proceeds to ask me which station to which I said I don't remember the number on top of my head I'll have to go out and take a look. Clerk Refused Service Because "Asians Have Corona" - I came in to buy a pack of cigarettes one day and the man behind the stand was very rude to me from the start. I tried initiating small talk, but he just had a problem with me for some reason. After he gets my cigarettes he asks for my ID and tells me he can't accept it because it's fake. I was shocked. I asked him how it was fake and he wouldnt tell me, he just said it was fake. I asked if he could just scan the ID on his register? Then he would know that my ID is real. He then told me that if it's real then it's not me. I was like what? He said the ID may be real but that's not you, so get out. I've never experienced something like this before. I even showed him my multiple credit cards under MY name, my school ID, my debit card, EVERYTHING! He still told me that my ID was fake or it wasn't actually me even if it was real? Like what? He then told me to go outside repeatedly because of how I'm dangerous. I was confused. How was I dangerous? This gas station is SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than any other gas station in the neighborhood. I don't know what else you would look for with gas station. The price can definitely be the only reason that this place receive 5 starts. It's only slightly higher than costco. A caveat: avoid the commute time in the morning and afternoon. I used their car wash on June 12. First thing I noticed was tape over the credit card slot, so luckily I had a bunch of dollar bills. Assoon as I drove forward and put cat in neutral as instructed by the lit sign, a short lady came running out to yell at me for not putting car in neutral! Then she just disappeared. Huh? The machine made lots of noise but nothing happened for over a minute. Do I put cat into drive and went forward more, then back into neutral. Car wash finally started washing. When it was done. The blower started blowing but the car was no longer moving. The blower finished, the car was sitting there soaking wet. I had to drive out. Never going back there again! I found out later by reading comments on NextDoor that this carwash has caused many complaints but no resolutions. There should have been an out of order sign a long time ago. I normally went here for carwash as there was no waiting time. Today somehow the carwash belt couldn't lock/load my car. So I backed out, and then realized probably my quote has already been used. So I went inside to ask for another chance for carwash. The lady claimed I did not follow the instruction. I explained that I used this facility multiple times. The staff said I need come back tomorrow again to solve this issue(I am not sure what the solution would be). Terrible carwash, terrible service! I should have read the reviews, but didn't think it was necessary for such a simple service. At the carwash, I was holding the brake down when I shouldn't have (no instructions about this, but anyway), so it started washing without my car in it. The Indian looking gentleman who came out to 'help' was then extremely rude, never ceased to talk on the phone, and just LEFT(!!) while I was asking him if he was going to restart it. I got a 20 second carwash. Not even that, as the wash itself was also malfunctioning (5 second blower, and no green light to 'go'), so I left with a water-stained car and a bad feeling for the day. I saw the car before me leave wet too, so it wasn't anything I had done wrong. Never again will we come here with our business. I needed help putting air in my tires and the gentleman at the desk not only helped me but provide the coins needed from the air machine. He made sure all My Tires were at the right levels. This gasoline station is a scam. My tire was flat and I needed to use the air pump. Got in to nicely ask the staff "can you turn in the air pump please?" She gave me a stern look "Did you purchase gas yet?". I said "no not yet". She then gave me an angry and disappointed look and said "Air pump is not free. It costs us electricity. Drop $2.5 tip to this tip box and I will turn it on. What's more outrageous is that she has a sign next to the tip box that demands tip before turning in air pump. Well, she needs to understand California law. In California, Assembly Bill 531 requires service stations "to provide, during operating hours, water, compressed air and a gauge for measuring air pressure, to the public for use in servicing any passenger or commercial vehicle." The law goes on to state that "these air and water services be made available at no cost to customers who purchase motor vehicle fuel." Never coming back. Don't come. Be careful!! The pump here rejected my AMEX gift card (fine), but then I later discovered it drained the entire value off the gift card despite the fact I paid for the gas on my credit card. Haven't check reviews before going to this station, it's just gas and quick car wash, what could go wrong? Unfortunately, I've got some problem entering the car wash. The attendant who supposed to help was just keep yelling instead. I don't remember anybody yelling at me like this since my early days in the army long time ago. After checking other reviews found out that it seems to be a normal practice for this station. Pathetic gas station and car wash service. Suggest avoiding at all costs. First, their gas is ridiculously priced compared to the Chevron and Shell stations nearby. On top of it l, the instructions for inserting the credit card are terrible. They show a vertical slot in the pictures whereas in reality, their machine only accepts credit cards horizontally if you insert it properly. Otherwise the pump stops. Finally, decided to use Apple Pay to escape the pathetic design and usability. Car wash was the worst. It simply is a rip off for the $7.99 they charge you. Why all the negativity towards this Valero!!!! I have been coming here all the time on the way out to the freeway. It is either here or to the arco station which is cheaper only if i have cash. I have never once seen the pumps out of order. the employees all know me and greet me with a smile. Located at Highway 9 and Stevens creek makes it very convenient for me. It used to be a Texaco station back in the day or so someone told me. I NEVER use the car wash here. i mean come on...what idiot would use a car wash at a gas station??? 8/29/15 - Wish I could give negative stars, but YELP requires at least the one star. First time YELP user and typically not one to complain. I just feel I have to warn others as my experience was beyond belief. Got gas, went smoothly. Paid $7.99 for a deluxe wash. I understand a drive thru car wash is for convenience. Here, it was met with rudeness, disrespect and incomplete service! I paid for a service and did not receive a completed service. I suggest for myself and others, that in this case, sacrifice convenience for better service. What happened? I waited my turn to enter the car wash because another car was going through its cycle. The car wash attendant told me I can go in. I shook my head No as I wanted to wait for the car currently in the car wash to finish his/her turn. After all, he/she paid for a car wash and a dry (the automatic dryer). Why rush that customer? I am in no hurry. It then becomes clear that I can enter safely because the other customer who paid for his service was done and left. I went through the wash and then entered the drying portion of the car wash (the automatic dryer). I typically stay in these types of car washes with the automatic dryers because they have a count down and it is meant to dry my car. This is the complete service I have paid for. Instead of being allowed to stay through the complete automatic dryer portion of the car wash, I was told by an attendant to get out because he had told the next customer to go in. This customer was on my tail and if I did not move my car out of the car wash, I would have been hit. I was surprised at this. My service was not complete and now this other customer, who deserves the same service of a wash and dry for his/her vehicle, was also being rushed. I parked my car at the air fill up area to be met by the car wash attendant and his dirty yellow towels. I immediately asked him why he allowed another car in while my car was still in the cycle and in the drying phase? He was immediately rude and said the light was green, you need to go. I said that I have been to this car wash before and have in the past not had an issue of being rushed out & another car on my tail. I went into the gas station to see management or an owner to explain that I have paid for a service and the service was not complete. The car wash attendant (as described in the other reviews) was very abrasive and said things like, "Go ahead, complain, I don't care!" Management did not take responsibility for the employees bad behavior nor the way they handle their car washing service. It is simple. Pay for a service, get the full service. In this case, I got a car wash (poor at that, soap still on the car once I got out of the car wash), and no drying time. I was met with rudeness and lack of customer service. I will never do business here again and I will certainly file an in person complaint to the local BBB as well. read more

OMG! I pulled into this Valero gas station yesterday to buy something from tits convenient store. I parked in the only spot available right next to an adjacent car that people were putting air in the tires. As I got out and started walking to the store I heard someone yell "HEY MAN!" I turned around and a bleach bond male attendant popped up from a crouching postition right next to the car I parked next to and said, "Hey man, what the hell can you move your car, I can't put air in these tires there isn't enough room." I walked back over to my car and saw the car he was putting the air in was parked all the way to the left side of the parking spot, certainly not centered, and my car was more centered than the other. Upon pointing this out to the attendant he just got more upset and said, "C'mon man just move your car, "F!" I drove away. I can't believe how rude this attendant was and that he used an expletive right in front of the customer he was helping who had what looked like about a 7 year old boy with her. Worse drive-through car wash ever! Ok, so every drive-through car wash always posts a sign stating that any damage resulting from their car wash is not their fault. I've probably driven through hundreds of car washes and never had any problem, so why would I even believe that this place would be any different? Well....I was wrong. Within the first few seconds of using this car wash, the spinning pieces of fabric rip off my windshield wipers!! I can't even believe what is happening. I try to move forward, but the stupid guide on the floor has the tire locked in. After it finally lets me out, I informed the attendant. Of course he doesn't care, but he does retrieve my windshield wipers from the spinning apparatus and gives it back to me. Got a car wash here and it was really bad. I did not expect all the bug splatter to be removed but the front of the car was not touched. As with the other reviews the attendant yelled at me and accused me of lying. She kept arguing with me. She have me another lower end wash and asked me to sign the receipt. When I signed it she said my signature was not good enough. It was my signature. It was really bad service and a bad car wash. I strongly recommend agains this car wash. read more

Mixed review: For years, I've been going here about once week for fill up and a quick machine car wash, because it is convenient. I have not had trouble with the pumps before, but I don't pre-pay a certain amount, which sounds like (from reading other reviews) this location may not handle well. Lately, I have avoided getting a car wash whenever the hostile and aggressive attendant is there. He is rude, insulting, and does a poor job. It seems like he is only out to ruin people's day and their cars. The reasons I frequent this car wash are because it is quick, convient and I don't have to deal with any attitude. Having this attendant there removes all of the upsides. If you want to spend the time dealing with an attendant, there are several hand touch car washes with kind and careful attendants that do superior jobs to a machine. As long as I see this creep (bleach blonde male attendant with a leathery face) standing there trying to rub down cars with a dirty yellow towel, I will not stop at this location again. With gas prices around the $4 ballpark in the South Bay, I thought it would be useful to point out to all you yelpers that this place can have pretty decent prices. But what I really wanted to review today was their car wash. My usual one has been temporarily closed so I went to the next closest one - this one. They'll give you a discount if you get more than 8 gallons of gas, but I was at 3/4ths, so I paid $6.99 for the deluxe wash. It didn't include the tri-color-protectant-layer-whatever, which I was fine with today. I'll get it next time I feel like being lame and want some tri-color happiness on my windshield. So, this is the kind where you're on a belt and it takes you through the wash. I followed instructions according to the lights, but my car wasn't detected (hello?) for some reason, and the guy had to come assist me, which was a little embarrassing, but at least he knew I had a problem and I didn't have to get out of my car, come eye to eye with the car waiting behind me, and go get him. THAT, would be worse. So, finally, I start moving. I get a nice splash of soap and through the foam, you look ahead and you see Sally-like locks from the Nightmare Before Christmas swaying back and forth, slapping your car's cover off like nappy wet dreads, thump, thump, kachung, thump... it certainly felt like Tim Burton eeriness was lurking around... or like Sally's face was about to appear... like a rip-off haunted house ride that was scary for the wrong reason.... ooooo...
