The portion was massive. I had a "Milanesa de Res", breaded beef steak. Served with a simple, yet tasty fresh salad. I opted out of the french fries and asked for rice instead. It being white rice, I was dissapointed at first, expecting it to be bland. However, as soon as I tried it, I discovered that it was everything but. The waiter spoke very moderate english and was aided by the lobby staff from the hotel this restaurant is located at. The decour is somewhat oldfashioned. The building itself is over a 100 years old. Yet I found it had a nice Hip edge to it. TThere is a bar right next to the restaurant (within the hotel as well), that offers live piano music. I must say I was very impressed. Elegant, yet, none of the sofocation that comes with it. Non-challantery seemed to be the norm among its customers. Oh! quite affordable. Spent under 20 dollars for a giant meal and 4 beers. read more
