BEWARE of this parking lot. I had the misfortune to park here due to a lack of parking around the school I was visiting for the day. After looking for a parking for an hour, I drove into this lot to ask how much. The man said six dollars for the day. That was in line with what I usually pay around schools, so I parked there and walked several blocks to the school. At the end of the day, I walked back and got into my car and proceeded to drive out of the lot. I gave the man (a different one this time) my ticket and a ten dollar bill. He tells me that it's $16. I argued with him that the man in the morning told me it was $6, but he showed me the sign and said "everybody" knows it's $16, and they do accept credit cards. I pulled out some more singles and told him that was all I have ($14) and I did not have a credit card to give him. He reluctantly took my money, and I took off. He tried to convince me that I must have heard wrong, but I clearly heard the man that morning say $6, and know without a doubt that I was ripped off. I don't know what I could've done to avoid this situation, since I've never experienced this before, but I want to warn everyone to double check the rate if you ever do park there. I recommend you stay away from this place. read more
