These guys are flat-out thieves. My car got impounded for a traffic violation, and they wanted to charge me an extra $150 for me to get in the car to retrieve my personal belongings. Then when I wanted to get the car back, even though I had an official letter from the rental car company telling him to release the car to me, he refused, then called the Manager of the renting location and talked him into reversing that letter. Why? He admitted that he was limited by the government on what he could charge for the impound, but after that he could charge whatever he wanted. In other words, he played games to jack up his fees and rip me off.
On top of that, he actually bragged about how he managed to stick it to some hunting guides who had a problem with their trailer. He bragged about how he made them keep peeling off hundred-dollar bills off a wad of cash because they absolutely HAD to get where they were going.
If you have any way of avoiding these scammers, use someone else. read more
