In the end, due to his solid communication and negotiation we obtained the house for $10,000s less than the highest bid. I highly recommend his services. He was easily available throughout the process and answered all of the (many!) questions we had. He pointed out pertinent things to be aware of. He was kind enough to even more than the nuts and bolts necessary for purchasing a house and provided guidance on the escrow signing process (even offered to be present to assist with any questions while signing with the notary! Without him, I was originally going to accidentally fill out a form incorrectly which may have torpedoed our mortgage which have been really bad. He caught my mistake and the signing went perfectly) He's also a very kind and pleasant person. This was much appreciated during the house purchasing process.

However, the process was not bad at all because of the help from Darren. We even managed to put contingency in the offer of our dream home. Darren also shared so much of valuable experiences/suggestions on home inspection, remodel etc. it's like a whole package of services. We already recommended Darren and Kimberly to all of our friends. Darren and the team is a delight to work with and I would not hesitant to hire him again!

He told me what I should list the property for (which was $100K more than others suggested). He told me what would happen for the next 10 days. Over the next week, he did exactly as he told me: cleaned house, fixed garden, got inspections done, etc. He told me he'd try to sell it for a higher price before it was even listed. Well, he did! He sold it before it was listed for a price higher than we were planning to list it for. All cash offer. Couldn't be happier with the process and the result. I'm so happy with him that I'm taking him to dinner this weekend!

We were looking to buy a property in Truckee and found John through Yelp, where he had outstanding…read morereviews. Those 5 star reviews were absolutely spot on. John knows the Truckee/Tahoe market inside/out and brings an unmatched level of experience, honesty, patience and professionalism. He is incredibly responsive (often within minutes), highly organized and never pushy. We felt that he was always operating on our timeline and looking out for our best interests rather than just trying to close a deal. Since we live in the Bay Area and couldn't always see homes in person, John made the process easy by taking detailed videos and clearly walking us through the pros and cons of each property. He was also extremely accommodating with our schedule whenever we needed to come up to Tahoe. On several occasions, when we thought we found the right house, John gave us honest guidance on why it might not be the best fit and he was right every time. He knew what would work for us even better than we did. His support continued well after closing. John helped us navigate the practical realities of owning a remote home in the snow, everything from snow removal services to maintenance planning and even coordinated access for contractors and furniture deliveries when we couldn't be there. Working with John made buying a vacation home in Truckee far easier and more enjoyable than we ever expected. John comes highly recommended. Do not look any further.

I have been hesitant to write this review because I'm afraid that I am not going to be able to…read moresuccessfully convey the magnitude of service and competence that Beau and Kylie demonstrated with every step of the home buying process. I always felt like I was their top priority and got their undivided attention. How they're able to be so effective I have no idea, but I would love to it figure out. I interviewed five different teams before I was lucky enough to come across Beau. While there are other good options I am absolutely confident he is the best. In addition to a complete understanding of the ins and outs of the home buying process itself he knows houses, the housing market, this area, and any other professional that might be needed in the process of purchasing a home. If you need a mortgage broker, inspector, lawyer, or place to get a used refrigerator Beau has top notch connections. More to my point, all these connections have been phenomenal and talk the world of Beau. When things do not go to plan he keeps a cool head and has multiple different ideas to offer up on how to move forward. His depth of experience and insight surpasses his age by so much that I'm almost positive he has some type of anti-aging/time machine device he isn't sharing with the rest of us. What's more, he is willing to use his education and experience to teach you as much as you want to learn. Kylie, simply put, is a joy to be around. She loves her job and it shows. She see's houses every day and she has an intimate knowledge of neighborhoods, home values, and Reno housing trends. She has, what I assume to be, a unique ability to read into your mind and know what kind of house will make you happy. Kylie never once tried selling me a house that she knew wasn't for me. She was extremely candid about everything, never pushy, and always patient. She was able to answer the vast majority of questions I had and what she didn't know she found out immediately and added that info to her repertoire for future use. It was odd working with someone that I enjoyed being around more than the majority of my friends, but it was awesome as well. Let it also be known that she knows the nuts and bolts of the entire process and has an extremely thorough understanding of all parts. Dickson Realty has continued education for it's employees and Kylie is literally the teacher. Do not underestimate her, she is a power house player and the more you're around her the more obvious it becomes. I won't get into specifics on all the issues that have arisen with the home that I have purchased (after I purchased it) but it needs to be said that Kylie and Beau will stand by you even after their part of the transaction is over. I cannot imagine having gone through the home buying process without these two. I assume it would have been a nightmare instead of the positive learning experience that it was.
