Wien Energie has today not only offered abominable customer service, even refusing to connect me…read morewith a manager!, but also has cut off my power (pre-paid this month) in winter so that I have no heating and cannot heat food. When I called a third time (I have been trying to accomplish this since Feb 1 via phone, email and internet contact forms), their representative yelled at me on the phone!
This kind of customer service is simple abuse of monopolized market - when this is a required public service this sort of behavior simply cannot be allowed. Even if the customer is not right in a specific instance, their needs must be addressed, and shouting at them helps no one. If there was a chance to work with another Energy Company in Vienna, I would already be a client, simply based on the lack of communication, organization, and utter void of decency displayed today on the phone!
