Don't let the smooth, taste, fool, ya!! As a new AmeriGas customer on October 13, 2022, I was quoted $1.96/gallon, plus a $140 safety inspection fee plus a delivery fee of $25. There was no discussion with the sales rep regarding any other fees associated with the sale with the exception of sales tax on the $1.96. The safety inspection occurred two days later on October 15 but we were told we would be billed the $140 fee after the gas was delivered. Three weeks later on November 3, 2022 we FINALLY received our shipment of propane. Again we could not pay the driver, we had to wait for the bill which would charge to our credit card. To my complete surprise, I was charged $111 more than quoted. When I called to inquire, I was transferred around from one Dept to another until finally someone told me that I didn't have any kind of price lock and it took three weeks to deliver the fuel so the price went up. Nay, nay said I. The price I was quoted is the price I expect the company to charge, and as to the other fees that were added afterwards, I did not agree to those, so I will not pay them. I told them they had two options; either reduce the price to the agreed-upon amount or come and pump the gas out of my tank so I can buy it from an honest vendor. After 15 or 20 minutes of holding, the customer service agent finally came back and told me they would reduce the price by $290 which was more than I had asked them to do. I was told the new invoice would be emailed to me within 24 hours showing the reduced amount. Did I receive that invoice? No! Did they charge the original inflated amount to my credit card? Of course they did! Now I have to dispute the charge. Good thing I kept notes with names and extension numbers. Don't let these people trick you into thinking their gas is a better price because they will try to bill you for more money or should I say BILK you for more money. BUYER BEWARE. read more

The Guys that run the place are great and very knowledgeable. I was thinking of giving it four stars because paying is a pain. With having to use your own phone to do a ton of things just to pay them. It's not the guy's fault and they also hate the system. They can be super busy so be patient. read more

They don't take legal tender AKA cash, or checks. With everyone having their information stolen no days why would you type your credit card information into a janky app to "pre-pay" for propane. What if you don't need the amount of propane you paid for. read more

Good pricing very efficient and good customer service. An overall very nice experience.

First I have to say I gave this company an opportunity more than 3 times to fix their issue. Now they are literally trying to charge my credit card every day for an amount they say they earned. I had originally called for a site inspection for a tank. I was scheduled three weeks out, I waited and waited and when the day finally came I called because I had never heard anything. I was told to wait a few days for the notes of the inspector to update in their system. I said ok, called again a few days later and they told me they could never come because of a gate and fence. Mind you the gate has a call box which they could have called me also they had the gate code I had already given them and my cell phone number. They charged my card with the excuse that they came. The guy I spoke with said they would reimburse me and he would reschedule. He said for that same weekend which was a lie. I waited another two weeks for another appointment, well turns out I get the same thing. They came and there was a fence and gate and couldn't get in. Also this is a new construction, we have no fence, the gate is to get in the subdivision which again they had the code since I had given it to them multiple times. Well this time I was upset because they were lying. I was home all day and no one called me or came to my house. They literally gave me the same excuse. I could never talk to a manager or get a hold of anyone that could help me. Well remember the fee they charged and said they would reimburse me? That was a lie, when I spoke to the rep she said she would submit a request and I would have to call back and I told them I just wanted my propane tank. I was not trying to not pay them. But they couldn't continue to lie to me. She said she cancelled everything and for me to call back in 7 days to just confirm everything was good. Well I wait and then call back and it turns out that they were trying to charge me for breaking a contract!!!!! A contract for what if they never did anything?! This is when I disputed with my CC and told them they were trying to steal my money. Never do business with this company! They are horrible, they lie and simply just take peoples money. I hate having yo give them one star because they do not deserve it. Please look elsewhere. read more

Friendly, professional, quick and honest service with cheaper prices than the local competitor (at least at the time of this review). They have a loyalty punch card too, which is awesome for the summer pitmaster in you. If you don't have a tank, they sell them, but tend to run pricey compared to big box stores. read more

1 star for the company changing payment method. 5 star for the employees on Washington st. for their great service. They sometimes have 3 or 4 customers at a time. why would you want to inconvenience customers when process was so simple before. Not fair to employees or customers. read more
