Tables near the door suffer from the draft when the door opens. It only has space for about 20 diners and it does a roaring trade in takeaway. I love the tandoori chicken but I have never really been served a disappointing dish there. The restaurant is in a small strip of shops that used to be known as the Pennydale shops - the first shops as you go south down Bay Rd from Southland. Parking in the strip is limited. Also be careful as you pull out because the road narrows a lot at that point and cars coming off Nepean highway tend to be doing more than 60 k's. Also note that the right turn from Nepean highway into Bay Rd is notorious for red light fines. The turn is wide and more than 90 degrees and it is impossible to watch the traffic light and navigate the turn safely.
