We booked a last minute one-night trip. The hotel was in a decent location if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. The parking cost extra and should just be included in the price since I am guessing most visitors here arrive via car. At night outside, there was a deep rumbling sound that sounded like it was coming from an engine or other machine. It may have been from the construction site next door, a pool cleaning machine or maybe a boat. This hotel offered a breakfast buffet that was okay but not great.

Probably the best thing one can say about the Bansin place is its location: at the end of the town's boardwalk virtually on the beach and right next to the coastal forest it's quieter than some other hotels nearby. You do hear sea gulls and the relaxing sound of the sea provided you booked a suitable room. Also on the plus side is the friendly staff, free WiFi and a generous wellness and spa section. However, this is where the good things end. The "design" of the hotel is boring. The furniture is made up of cheap wood imitation. The rooms include neither a water cooker nor an ironing board. For most things you need to pay extra, i.e. parking. Their food selection is missing healthy choices. Their" double bed" is falling apart in the middle of the night, because it's in fact to losely connected single beds. Breakfast includes US motel style greasy sausages and fried eggs. Their rates are very steep, even off season. Compared with other four or five star hotels in Europe and even more so beyond you don't get what you pay for at Travel Charme. I've stayed in two Travel Charme hotels now and cannot recommend them.

Thankfully there are a couple of parking spaces behind the house. Or else it's a bit tough to park your car as the quiet one-way street is very narrow. It sometimes means a little march and requires some luck. The hotel itself is nice, light and modern. Some rooms even have an ocean view which is sweet. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. Slightly late 90s but well maintained. The owners are very friendly and talkative. Always nice to have a chat with them during breakfast time or whenever suitable :) The boss himself is a great source for info on the area and the island in general. Their breakfast is excellent and you will find the usual things like cheese, curd, jam, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, nutella, fruit, bread, rolls, muesli, yogurt and so on. Really nice! Prices range from 35-50 Euro for a single room to 52-90 Euro for a double room. (Depending as usual on the season.)

The door handle on the shower door is loose. They forgot to bring up the child seat and the slippers. One time they forgot about our room service order. The Internet is slow. Yes, all first world problems. But when a place costs this much, I expect first class service. And this place doesn't deliver. And what's with the towel cards that are a 50€ deposit?! But it's not far from Berlin and my kid likes the pool and I like the beach. So hey, go figure. And the breakfast buffet is pretty good, especially the omelets. And the people who work here are nice. But the coffee is terrible.
