In November 2021 a friend suggested we see the play " Le Porteur d'histoire " at this theatre. I…read moredidn't go in with too much background knowledge on the theatre or the play, but at least knew the play was well-received in the past. My friend reserved our tickets for a Saturday evening showing. We arrived around 15 minutes in advance so that we could get in line and allow for time to collect our tickets at will call and for Covid sanitary pass checks. The staff were friendly and efficient. The theatre was small but reasonably comfortable. The seating consisted of benches. If you are short like me I would recommend grabbing a seat as far front as possible since it is not like at a cinema where the rows get more elevated as you go back. We were told to leave the very first row free, but then the last audience members who arrived seated themselves in the front row; not sure if maybe the staff were just hoping to leave that row empty but changed their minds when everything else got filled. Since the theatre was small, it made the ambiance a bit more intimate, but my friend who is quite tall didn't seem to have much leg room. The performance was great; I was impressed by both the artistry of the actors and their stamina in what turned out to be a long, energetic play. There were not very many props, as the actors typically conveyed the presence of objects or settings through miming or dialogue and they did this very successfully in my opinion. Both my friend and I really enjoyed our time at this theatre. I would recommend it for an accessible, intimate theatregoing experience in Paris.

Bref, ce ciné est propre et facile. Il est un peu spacieux, plus que les autres UGC dans la ville. C'est un bon addition dans ce quartier, mais un peu caché et sans pleins des choses immédiatement à côté. J'aime bien ce ciné.

Although it was sold out we still had ample room to be comfortable. Comfortability: it seemed well ventilated ANSI was able to breathe easily The bar: Extremely well priced but maybe that's because I'm used to venues charging an arm and a leg for drinks Energy: The patrons the venue seemed to attract was hip young people (that depend on the show of course). People were lively and dancing as well so it felt very positive.
