History
Established in 2013.
Ute Crossing Trading Post was once a small gift shop located inside of the Ute Plaza Supermarket for roughly eight years until decided in 2012, that the small gift shop would soon become a Trading Post to represent the Northern Ute reservation. In November of 2013, the Ute Crossing Trading Post has remodeled, had its grand opening, and has grown ever since! The store has expanded with more merchandise, and has gained high quality work from Native American artists everywhere.
Meet the Manager: Charlyn Tissy C.
Charlyn was first suggested to become the store manager when the Ute Tribal Business Committee decided there would be a local Trading Post. At which she wasn't thrilled, but time helped her realize this is what she enjoyed doing. She carries her pride in her beadwork and loves creating things for others and for her own self comfort.
