So I just had to reply back.

Send customer service, a complaint, get a cookie cutter reply back. It was quite obvious they didn't even read the whole thing, or maybe they just don't care.

    Filthy chair.

I am very fortunate to be able to ride public transportation. I save a lot of money. Sometimes save a lot of time. Saves my sanity staying out of I-15 traffic. Only complaint I have is the seats. I think it's time for vinyl. Everyday it's a struggle to find a clean seat. Sometimes the seats are soaked with what may appear as urine. Sometimes they are dirty with god knows what. I wear dress pants and don't sit in 90% of the seats because they are so filthy and gross.

Always some a**hole blasting their cell phone on the train, extremely annoying, the need police more often to keep things safe.

They don't care. Bad drivers, worse attitude. Worse management with regard only for their bloated salaries and pensions

This location is fairly close to one of our major hospitals in town, but is still a bit of a walk to get to it. I don't see using Trax if you have some kind of medical condition that stops you from walking over to the hospital. To bad it doesn't drop you off or pick you up right at the hospital entrance. Side note: When I was in Washington D.C. (Crystal City) the hotel I was staying at had a train line that stopped right at the hotel. It was nice to just hop on the train right from my hotel. UTA has added a few other offshoot lines from the major one that runs North and South, parallel to State Street. Let's be honest...we live in the West, and when this city was planned out, they didn't plan ahead for over crowding, and businesses and housing to be so spread apart. If you travel to a city where mass transit works, you will find most of what you need in walking distance from the station, even housing. This is NOT the case here. In fact most "stations" are out of the way. You either have to drive to, or ride the bus, to actually catch the Trax, which kinda defeats the purpose of mass transit. Let's say if you ride the Trax downtown, you are able to walk around without a car, if you don't mind walking large block sizes. Think of the strip in Vegas. You look out onto the strip, and you see a casino you want to go to, because of an optical illusion, you head out because it's just right there, and you tell yourself... just a few more steps. The reality is the casino you want to go to is really blocks, and blocks, and blocks if not miles further than your eye told you it would be. That's what the distance from the Trax line is to the establishment you intend to go to here. In order for Trax to really service the valley they will need to put more lines in, to access places that people frequent, and build closer to the Trax lines. Trains are on the small size, and are weirdly designed. A lot of wasted space in the train cars. Trains run smooth, and run on time, unless there is a problem. like someone thinking they can beat the train, and they collide. Trains are pretty much empty except during rush hour, and you are going to/from downtown, or for events that are downtown. They keep raising prices which is a deterrent for some people that would ride the Trax, but opt not to, because it's cheaper to drive your car. I wish our county, and specifically our city, was walking friendly, but it just isn't. It's to far to actually walk from Trax to most businesses. They do have Car Parks to leave your car while you ride the Trax, which helps keep cars off the roads. I have noticed that more, and more apartment buildings are being built within walking distance to each Trax station, this helps, but this isn't going to help getting to your final destination unless it is a conceivable walking distance especially during our winters here.

UTA is apparently not smart enough to realize that calling a station "North Temple" and then…read morecalling another station 4 stops away "North Temple Bridge" causes needless confusion, wrong exits, and missed transfers. Seriously, no one thought that maybe it would be smart to only have one stop called North Temple? What kind of incompetent fools planned this piece of crap? Also, it should be obvious (although I'm sure it's not to the bureaucrats at UTA), but the terminals for buying tickets are clunky, dysfunctional, and extremely unintuitive. The touchscreen is apparently from 1990 with a sweet 4-second lag time. Want your terminals to be damaged from people punching them in frustration? Then you're in the right place. Say you want to catch the Frontrunner from the airport down to Utah county... Good luck magically knowing that you need a Frontrunner ticket starting at the North Temple station (oh, and that's the North Temple *Bridge* station of course, not the 1940 North Temple station). I still have no clue if I'm also supposed to pay for a Trax ticket from the airport to North Temple (again, obviously not the non-bridge North Temple, as that wouldn't transfer you anywhere). The Trax train very conveniently doesn't say 704 anywhere on it, just "GRN" (which obviously means green?) despite Google and the UTA trip planner giving the number 704. But rest assured, that number is just there to help confuse you, since you wont be able to find it anywhere. I've travelled around the world and the UTA transportation here wins for the most retarded piece of crap I've ever seen. Don't waste your time. It's not worth the hassle of trying to figure out UTA's nonsense, as the concept of usability in a mass transit system never crossed their mind.

Utah Transit Authority is very uncaring. The bus I take to the Trax Station is the first bus on…read morethat route. It does not come until 6:43 in the morning. There used to be a bus at 5:25 am, 6:05 am and 6:35 am. They took away the first two and made the next one come later. At that time, I had to be to work at 7am. By taking away those buses, they made me late for work. I had to plead with my boss to change my starting time so I could get there on time. They charge a fortune to ride, $2.50. Yesterday, my driver was early getting to the Trax stop and he opened the doors and had a bunch of people get off before we got to the stop. Today, he was late getting there and made us wait to get off at the stop which caused us to nearly miss the train. There is no rhyme or reason to their thinking. I actually heard one bus driver tell another who was being trained, that if they are 7 minutes late, that is not considered late by UTA. Don't they understand that the seven minutes can make the difference between someone arriving to work on time and being late, or making their connection or having to wait? I think they do know and they just don't care. They are only interested in lining their own pockets at the expense of the public.
