Then I received a call at 10:00pm stating they delivered too many tables and chairs and would be picking those up. This was at a private home where they went late at night and picked them up. I posted something on several of the yardsale pages online back then to make people aware of my situation working with her and recieved hundreds of comments about her from other people who had worked with her and had terrible experiences. I was blown away by all the people she had done bad bussiness with. Some mentioned that she has changed her name several times because she has been in trouble with the better business bureau, at the time I did bussiness with her she was using the name Utah DIY weddings, but I was informed that she is now using this name and just want to try to prevent anyone else having to deal with the heartache she has caused so many others. Not being able to have the wedding I dreamed of was heartbreaking and to have someone steal from me on top of it was devastating.

I ended up having a question almost immediately after submitting my online request, gave them a call, and they had already started processing my request. Service was super friendly and quick, and I was able to pick up my last minute rental a few days later. When picking up my rental, their staff loaded up my truck for me, which I wasn't expecting! It was super generous of them, and I was so grateful I didn't have to load everything up by myself. The table rentals here are wooden tables, so they're pretty heavy for one person to lift on their own and I was grateful I didn't have to load and unload them alone when picking up/dropping off the rentals. Pick up/drop off was super smooth as well. There's great signage and you just pull around to the side of the building and check in, and they load up the car. I had to book the same rental for a couple weeks later, and when I dropped off the equipment I was able to book with their team on site. Super friendly and helpful staff! I don't believe these are the cheapest rentals in town, but they're affordable and I will definitely be using them in the future.

I really couldn't have asked for more…read more I deal with a lot of photographers and photo booth companies as part of my job, and it gets pretty easy to tell the difference between "a dude with a camera" and a professional photo booth company. Oh sure, you'll pay less for so-and-so's brother in law with the PVC rinky dink booth, but you'll also get less. In the spirit of full disclosure, you should know that it was part of my job to work with ShutterBooth so I wasn't writing a check. But I do fully believe that the quality is worth what you pay for it and ShutterBooth are the cream of the crop. Here's my story. I was looking for a photobooth partner for a big, splashy event going on and found ShutterBooth here on Yelp. With star marks from Manda B I figured they were the real deal, because she doesn't take crap from anyone. So I shot off an email. It wasn't long before Kelly gave me a call, and we talked about the event and what I would need. She immediately followed up with a short but detailed list of questions to make sure we could create the perfect event and we were both happy. I should also mention that while it wasn't totally last minute, I certainly could have given more time. As I came to find out, they have more than one booth on hand and even though they had other events going on that night they were able to fit me in. The first night of our two-part adventure Kelly herself ran the booth. She was a total pro--punctual, and patient with the last minute chaos that events bring. She set up quickly and ran things smoothly all night long. The second night Kaira was hosting, and was every bit the pro as the owner. Our event was late at night and it would have been easy to get tired and ooze apathy but they were both super fun, engaging, and all smiles. The booth itself is slick. Like a giant Construx set (shoutout to '80s toys!) that snaps together well. Black and brushed metal. No PVC here, so there's no worries of being embarrassed by a ghetto booth. And the quality carries into the photos. High quality paper, quick printing, sharp resolution, and ridiculously fun. Oh, and even more fun the drunker the guests got. If you're a bride looking for a photo booth (is it photo booth or photobooth?) you can also get a wedding album, so they print one strip for guests and one for your book. I'm told they do a decent amount of weddings, but also quite a few corporate events and parties. Do you want to see your boss posing with a feather boa and his secretary for a scandalous photo. I think we both know the answer to that question is yes. After the event the photos are available online and you can download them, or order reprints of any pic or full strip. And the gallery can be private, in case your boss's wife gets snoopy. They'll travel all over the place for you. I imagine the price changes depending on travel time and distance, but they do events all along the Wasatch Front and Back. They told me about a wedding they did in Boulder. Just ask them and if they can't cover it I'm sure they could help you figure out who will. I couldn't be happier about the whole experience. The booth was a hit. The guests were pleased. And on top of all that, I'm rockin' a brand new Yelp profile pic from the whole experience. Victory.
