I have been so extraordinary impressed! In December 2019, I went for an evaluation of my breast implants (placed @ 13 years ago) because I had a concern of the shape. Upon Dr. Giraldo's evaluation, he explained that the 'Tear Drop' shape implants turned causing my shape and size to change. It made perfect sense! Dr. Giraldo further explained all of the types of breast implants and the implants he would recommend for me. I mentioned to Dr. Giraldo that I work out and he advised me on some movements to customize and sport bras to consider. Talk about a plethora of information?!? I left his office with more information than I had questions! Needless to say, I couldn't wait to schedule my surgery! I'm about 3 weeks out now and really haven't missed a beat! While I am being super careful with my upper body movements, I'm back at the gym. Actually, I went back on the 15th day after surgery and back to work on day 7! However, I had a very pleasant first appointment with Dr. Spencer at the Dermatology & Skin Surgery Institute in North Texas this past week. I've had some actinic keratosis (a precursor to skin cancer) about 14 years ago, and I also have some occasional acne and general aging skin issues. I've been figuring I needed a checkup with a dermatologist since I turned forty just a couple of years ago. I chose Dr. Spencer because he appears to be a serious skin doctor, as shown by a number of academic papers he's written, and he also appears to have been schooled in some of the latest modern treatments for skin conditions. I had virtually no waiting, and the Dermatology Institute's office staff were very professional and efficient. Dr. Brent was brisk, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions capably. He examined my skin, identified minor spots of sun-damage, and removed some questionable patches very adeptly. Although he worked rapidly, I felt I was given very personal attention, and I feel a lot more confident about any future dermatologist visits I might need. Very cool to meet someone who's so intelligent and warm!
