If I could give zero stars I would! I arrived at 7:40 pm to have dinner with my husband, I saw online at Yelp they had spots available for 2 at 8, 8:15, 8:20, 8:30 pm that night. Upon arrival the hostess answer for my request was: we don't have any table for 2 available, I asked about wait time and her reply once more was: I don't have any table for 2 tonight. Flavors in my food were funky. I expected way more from this restaurant. They give u stale bread, with a plate of hummus, seaweed salad, and ginger all together.... in one plate. I would have given five for the food was outstanding, however gave four for the atmosphere inside. Wish could separate the score between the two. We were fortunate to get reservations last minute outside. Yeah, and I mean that. When first walked in door to check in with hostess it was extremely crowded around there with people waiting. Had to move out of the way several times. The noise level inside was high. Looking around at the decor I observed so many tables literally crammed in the space to where the chairs were almost touching back to back. A waiter would have to pass food over for no human being would be able to fit unless as thin as a sheet of paper. I could not imagine being so tightly fitted in like that. Isn't it a hazard? We were on vacation this past weekend in Naples. A friend recommended Nemos, and we are so glad they did. We ate there on our first night, and we enjoyed it so much, we ate there again on our last night. From the service, to the food, to the wine selection, everything is excellent. My wife and I, of course, enjoyed the Sea Bass. But that goes without saying at this place. As you can tell from the other reviews it is beyond good. We had a fantastic experience with our server on the first night. A charming very pregnant waitress that attended to our every need. Even taking the time to pause the service after we had a starter and appetizer and needing it to sit a little bit. She made excellent recommendations and really was fun to talk with. We thought we got lucky, but on the second night, we had a server that was just as good and recommended the yellowtail to me which was perfect. I have literally no hesitation in saying that you will not have a better meal in town. A few other highlights: My wife ordered the brussel Sprout starter. After one bite I saw the look in her eye of, We are definitely coming back here to order this again. I hate Brussel sprouts, but the magical soy concoction they have cooked these things in, is beyond good. Way better then the usually brussel sprouts and bacon you get at most places. I ordered the Sauteed Jumbo Wild Scallops starter. These were the most perfectly cooked scallops I have ever had. They were in a light saffron sauce that was excellent. My mother had been craving a coconut creme pie for the longest time and when I searched coconut creme pies in Naples, USS Nemo kept coming up. Now I understand why! It is such a decadent pie. They put white chocolate shavings and blueberries on it. I brought a whole pie to her party, which they were happy to make for me, and she loved it! In a word...fabulous! First time customers and I agree with another reviewer-the meso sea bass signature dish is the best fish I've ever tasted! So flaky and flavorful, slightly and deliciously fatty with a succulent sweetish glaze. Accompanied by tempura veg and wonderful sticky rice. The only downside is that they are usually busy and you can sometimes feel a little rushed rather than being able to hang out and relax for a while. I Also don't think they have a full bar. Second time dining here and both times were excellent. Service was great. The yuzu shrimp is a must order app. Just the right amount of kick and yummy tempura coating. I got the sashimi salad for dinner and it was outstanding. If you are a fan of raw fish you will love it. After looking at Yelp for some ideas for lunch in Naples we chose USS Nemo. The atmosphere inside is a fun underwater theme. And you can get a glass of Champagne or Prosecco! We tried the shrimp po-boy and crispy grouper sandwich. The shrimp were plump, juicy and crispy. The grouper was tasty. My only issue was they oiled the outside of the bread which was greasy and made the sandwiches messy to eat. Our Server was acceptable, albeit somewhat distracted.
