I hate to say bad things about a failing business, but when the people working in it do not care, I have to give the honest review it deserves: the downtown post office seems to be staffed by the rudest and don't-know-any-answer people. Seriously, how much is it to say "good morning" and smile to the taxpayer that keeps paying for your bloated retirement/health benefits and over the top salary (for the skills you have)? Maybe answer my questions? Maybe fewer breaks when there is a line of 12 people around noon? If Fedex and UPS were to treat customers like ***t, they would not last too long, but we are stuck with you, I get that. Just because you have a bad attitude does not mean the taxpayer gotta take it...like voting for a Congress that will get rid of the USPS?
Folks, if you can help it, go to the North Mankato branch. The gal is super friendly, nice, bends-over backward to help, and she is always with a smile on her face. If you ask a question, she tries to find the answer. Wish the post master would reward the good workers and get rid of the ones with bad attitudes. read more
