Son insisted since in Italy, gotta have pasta, so we settled on this place a little off the main thoroughfare.
They charge for bread, but we were hungry , and it was delicious.
Son ordered the Bucatini and I orderd the Carbonara, and we got aome meatballs to split.
I also ordered a local beer Ichnusa, which was cold, deep in flavor, a very nice beer.
The Meatball was decent, quite large, well cooked, not overly flavorful , except the marinara it came in was hearty, robust and was very rich in flavor, so when combined with the Meatball, it was an incredible bite
The Carbonara, was very flavorful on its own, but the crispy pork cheek was a whole nother level and when combined in a bite with the noodles and sauce, with was pasta heaven.
Place had all the rustic charm of an Italian Cafe, with both indoor seating , and an outdoor covered seating area.
Service was excellent with the owner checking in with us and how we enjoyed the meal.
