I've been going to USA on Steinway on and off for over 2 years now. I've had no problem with the staff. Dr Bankman or the procedures. I've had several laser procedure's performed . my body is prone to varicose veins through heredity. An ultrasound is done before and after each procedure a week or two apart to insure no blood clots. Some injections take longer to heal than others depending on the vein. My insurance fully covered each time. This is something you don't buy a coupon for it's not a game. Horrible experience! Do not waste your money or veins! My legs have been destroyed since having a procedure here. I initially came for a vein removal treatment( which they did not know how to perform) and ended up leaving with painful lumps produced by their invasive vein removal. They billed my insurance card, took money from insurance, and have the audacity to keep billing me a ridiculous fee (probably so they can stay open) damaging my legs! They are very unprofessional and not competent, my advice is to go anywhere else but here! read more

I went to get sclerotherapy for which I had a groupon of 4 sessions. I went to get the treatment and the "doctor" tried to sell me another treatment. I told him I just wanted the sclerotherapy done. He begrudgingly did the first treatment when I tried to make my follow up with the receptionist she said the "doctor" wants you to get an ultra sound (with my insurance). I said I just wanted to make my follow up for what I have paid for and the doctor came out and would not take no for an answer and REFUSED to make me a follow up appointment until I made one for the ultra sound which I did not want need or request. I should have heeded the reviews on this place. Why should I be bullied into something I didn't want. I would never return to this place (as I would be too afraid to (and I recommend everyone else to heed same). The more I think of it the more appalled I am by the way I was treated. I called two locations one that is on Steinway and the other in Forest Hills. They claimed they accept most insurances and when I said I have Healthfirst they were quick to say they didn't take that insurance, yet when I searched online one of their providers did but they still said HealthFirst is not being taken in any of their locations. However, if I spent $300 for a consultation they could put me on an affordable payment plan. Well, this explains why they don't accept a plan that is pretty much accepted everywhere. However, after reading the other reviews it doesn't matter if they do take your insurance because they end up making you sign forms to rip you off one way or another. So, they charge your insurance as much as they can and then they also make a profit from your hard earned money in these trying times....not cool. This chain of clinics should be reported to the state attorney for fraud and shouldn't be in business! read more

Do not schedule an appoint with this or any other location. This company is A FRAUD. They claim they accept all insurances and will confirm it at the time of appointment while making you sign a form that you are responsible for all fees not covered by the insurance. My mother called and scheduled an appointment at this location. She was assured over the phone that they accepted her insurance. On the day of the appointment she asked again if they accepted it, and she was told they did. She signed all the paperwork including the form saying she would be responsible for all expenses. A few weeks later, she started getting calls about an $830 bill that had not been covered by insurance because, get this: THEY DON'T TAKE HER INSURANCE... They have called almost every day attempting to coerce my mother into paying this bill or they would submit it to collections. I have attempted to contact them on behalf of my mother and they refuse to speak to me. My mother called various times asking to speak to the manager of this location but we have been told that they don't know where the manager is and they don't know when they will return. We haven't heard back for the manager yet but we get calls every day reminding my mother to make her payment. DO NOT GO TO THEM. DON'T TRUST THIS BUSINESS! I made an appointment online and I was able to get a next day appointment. Front desk lady was courteous and the wait to be called in was not long. However after I was called in. I was told to change into some scrubs bottom, no issue there. I was taken to get the ultrasound for my legs and that only took 20 min or so. While I'm laying there all I'm hearing is this extreme bangs on the ceiling. So hard I was nervous the ceiling might have come down. Turns out it was the gym next door. Anyways the guy that took the ultrasound had me wait in a room for the doctor. I waited an hour and 20 minutes and the doctor never showed up. I ended walking out. Duting that time not the doctor or anyone came to apologize for the wait or explain anything. I found that so unprofessional. I will not go to this location again. I didnt get my issues solved or treated and came out with a headache from all the weights banging from the gym next door. read more

Very poor customer service I had one pressure done the Secretary never gave me my prescription for my stocking, isupose to go for check up after 2 days they called me 2 times to reschedule my appointment, the guy who did my sonogram didn't wanna answer any questions he keep telling me when you done you can ask the girl outside and when we done he let me go with the gel in my leg to another room instead if giving me tisue to clean he said in the other room you have some and after I asked the girl at the disk to give me all my report in order for me to go to another doc she was acting very normal well she is not loosing anything she is not the doc iwill never recommend no one to go there read more

Do Not Waste Your Money, use a private doctor that will provide more personalized care. At the initial appointment, he doctor and staff at this office were professional with good bedside manner however, the office appeared to be disorganized as demonstrated by providing deceptive information. I purchased a groupon and was promised 3 treatments for Spider Veins upon leaving the initial appointment however, when I returned for the follow up, I was told to visit a different clinic and told I did not have any further treatments left. This was a scam and meant to lure or force the client into returning to spend significantly more money on further treatment as 1 treatment for spider veins is almost always ineffective. This was disappointing, unprofessional and a complete waste of my time as I took time off work for the appointments. I basically paid for nothing as the initial treatment was completely ineffective. read more

Really disappointed with this place. Staff was very friendly and nice. The only problem is that the DR said the procedure was covered by my insurance. A couple months later I receive a bill for $12,000!!!! The procedure did not even work, you can still see the veins in my leg. Absolutely going to get my lawyer and I have pictures to prove the veins are still there. I'm very disappointed because I really trusted them. No one ever told me the amount of the procedure.
