I am visiting from out of town & needed to have a toenail fixed. The technician knew exactly how to relieve the discomfort and treat the nail bed. I was very happy...Many thanks read more

Horrible, sloppy, dirty salon!!! I should have gone with my gut, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. HUGE MISTAKE!!! read more

I wish I could give this place ZERO STARS. Absolutely the worst service. I went in for a full set and polish. Pictures following. I've already lost 3 nail tips in less than 2 weeks. The glue she used to attach the tips was thick and clumpy, she even had to reapply 2 tips at time of service. She did not make the material applied to form the artificial nails smooth. The gel polish application was messy. I called to speak to the manager and the same tech informed me they weren't there, refused to tell me when the manager would be there, (she's related to the manager), then she preceeded to cuss at me and hung up on me!! Horrible employees and service! read more

Wendy was an absolute gem! She's not only hilarious She's very thorough and did a wonderful job! I'll definitely come back when I'm in town!

People were nice but that's about it. The pedicure I got looks like a 3rd grader did it and they don't do a scrub or massage. I should have listened to the reviews. read more

Lordy, the location was dirty, I'm not sure they cleaned/sanitized the pedicure tub or tools, there was no menu of services and I had to ask the lady to not use the nail drill on my 4 year olds toes. I never leave negative reviews but this was on another level. Don't go, don't waste your time or money. read more

I took my daughter to get her nails done and decided to get a full set. When I asked if I could have my nailer shaped differently the nail tech became irate and stated very loudly "you don't know what the hell you want! I don't know what the hell you want! You do your own nail". It was embarrassing a rude and I will never go back. The establishment was not clean to standard as well. read more

People were rude and almost annoyed we were there. we sat down and lady began removing my old gel with a tool. It was painful and I told her so. She said she didn't want to use nail polish remover because it would take too long. One minute later, she ripped off my nail! She wanted to put gel over it all the while telling me it would be okay. I grabbed my mom and my things, took a video of her, my finger with no nail, the woman who did it and the facility. I began asking about them around town and all I heard was how rude and incompetent they are. I need to reach owner just in case my finger gets an infection! read more

I would rate a zero if it was possible, not even sure how this place is still open. For one it's very dirty. Floors probably haven't been mopped in a very good while. I went in to get gel French tip on my nails and a pedicure which was also French tip. The girl didn't even soak my feet before filing off my old nail polish so she was handling my dirty feet with no gloves or anything which I found gross. They didn't use acetone to take off my old polish so there is literally still red nail polish on my toes which you can clearly see because the new gel is clear and white. I didn't get a massage on my feet or even my feet scrubbed. My feet soaked for maybe 2 mins. My nails are crooked, and the French tip is so uneven. I'm so disappointed in paying $80 for this. The people were kind but they rushed the whole process. read more

USA Nails - Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Ruidoso, New Mexico

WOW!! Maybe I'm a Karen but they are not disinfecting between pedicure clients!! She squirted a table spoon of "Ultra deluxe dish detergent" after me. And rinsed nails tools off in the sink. I'm hoping I don't get a fungus or infection. Not sure if NM laws are this lax. And they re-use the foam pad from between toes!! read more

USA Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Ruidoso, New Mexico

Do not go here! Worst experience ever!! USA nails over charged me for the services we got for my daughter and I. I guess pedis went up to $35 (used to be $23) which isn't gel polish, no message, no hot towel & no scrub. Also got my fingers painted, again not gel, didn't even get a manicure (cuticles cut/ shaping, etc.) and they tried to charge me $100 for both which was about $60/ $70 worth of work. Ended up paying $90 since I wasn't happy but even that was a lot for what we got. My nails looks like crap and my pedi wasn't even relaxing. I'll never go here again. Please don't waste your time or your money. read more

I wish I could say I had a great experience here.... but I absolutely did not. The place is filthy, the manicure I received is the worst manicure I've ever seen in my life, & the worker was so sick she should not have been working!!!!! I left without paying and I will NOT be back. read more

USA Nails - Gel manicure I received at USA nails. Literally don't go. - Nail Salons Near Me - Ruidoso, New Mexico

Best pedicure ever. Run by a brother and sister and failed to get the sisters name. I had 2 ingrown nails I didn't know I had and she was able to get them out with little to no pain. When I told my husband how good she was, he wanted a pedicure too. She really worked hard on him too and got his ingrown nails out and he didn't flinch once. We will definitely come back here when we r in Ruidoso. I also got the mood changing nail colors on my hands and LOVE them!! read more

Time for a more recent review since most nail reviews are literally 7 years old. I Don't ever post negative, however, the level of rude is ridiculous. I asked to have gel nails removed and put back on and I honestly don't think they know how. This got so bad I had to tell her what tool to use. She consistently kept saying whatever the customer wants, I finally told her I'm sorry I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job, but these are my nails and I don't want them ruined. She began cussing saying whatever the hell the customer wants. I said you do not have to be rude, this went on and I'm literally stuck with hands in acetone - not nails- hands. Avoid this place, not sure how they've been in business for 14 years. Wish I had a better option to share. read more

Worst pedicure ever! Used a drill to scrub my feet. Didn't use lotion. And didn't give a foot massage!

Horrible pedicure, didn't put base coat on nails and didn't scrub heels wth any kind of soap. Gel polish is all over my cuticles and bubbled. Also can see through gel in places..... Dont go here. read more

I broke a nail close to the quick while on vacation in Ruidoso; the place I have gone to in the past was closed in the morning so I chose this salon not having been there before - and the lady there did a great job! I've had two more manicures in the weeks since (elsewhere in NM and in NY) and her fix has held up beautifully. We were there in the off-season so there was just one person for three walk-ins at 10 am (my sister and niece were with me and also got manicures) but she was very efficient anyway and amusing - I'll certainly go here again first choice next time I'm in Ruidoso and need my nails done! read more

In short: WORST MANICURE/PEDICURE EVER!! Yelp needs a 'zero' stars option for this place. It looked like an OK job when I was there, but when I got in the car and put my reading glasses on, I was upset at the sloppy job. I even went back inside and asked if she could clean up my nails. I was told that I could peel it off, and then she made a half-hearted attempt to file the polish off my skin. Ouch! I've never left with polish on my skin, nor have I had my skin filed before. Some of the polish did peel off, but most of it was smudged into my skin, so I had to buy polish remover at the store and clean it off myself. So what else deserved zero stars? 1. Not only did I leave with polish on my cuticles and surrounding skin (such as the end of my finger), but there are spaces where the polish does not even meet my cuticle. My thumb looks like the manicure is a week old. 2. The nails are filed differently. Some are filed in an oval shape and others in a rounded square shape. 3. I had to trim my cuticles on several fingers that evening. They were apparently skipped. 4. She cut my toenails SHORT, and they were polished as poorly as the fingernails, with uneven coverage and missed areas. 5. I paid for extra callus work. One heel was done well. The other one was very rough and caught on my socks that evening. You know that annoying feeling... 6. She applied some sort of gel-type substance on my toenails and assured me that it was fine to put my shoes and socks on... Nope, two toenails smudged badly. I wanted to wear the cheap, flimsy sandals home, like you can with any other salon, but I guess they wanted to reuse them. 7. Unfriendly, pushy techs who gave the impression that I was really interrupting them. They continually look at the TV to keep up with their foreign language soap operas, while doing your nails. She actually moved me to a different station so she could see the TV better. Not the usual ambiance of a salon - loud, cheesy TV. Nope, this is not the place to go to get a decent mani/pedi. read more

Please avoid this place like the plague. Not only is the woman in charge (Nancy?) incredibly rude and sloppy but she actually caused my mom (who is an older customer) a lot of pain. With a sharp, new file and metal clippers, while filing and trimming her nails, this woman cut my mom in four places, drawing blood. Worse, she was nonchalant about it, saying, "Oh, you'll be OK. Just put some antibiotic on it when you get home." I'm outraged and wish there was a way to see that there were consequences for such unprofessional business practices and terrible skills. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. read more

My wife went to get her nails done here on thanksgiving and the lady that was doing her nails did a very poor job, and was obviously sick. My wife had a very poor experience and was even cut on the finger during the process and started to bleed. These people need to find a job doing something other than nails. read more

My pedicure and acrylic nails were what I would call fair to poor. She spent all her time digging out my big toe stuff and while that's ok its not why I get pedicures. Her fill job on my nails was ok but she was trying to do too many people at once, she was alone. It would have been better to tell a few to come back than try to do a bunch of us at once. I will probably not go back. It also seemed unclean, I've seen worse but they need to do better imho read more

One person working and trying to take care of her 5 year old daughter at the same time. Son was in back office playing video games. (Sunday afternoon) 3 people came in after me. It was a mad dash to finish my pedicure ASAP and move on to the next. Was just hoping for a relaxing pedi with lots of massage time. I felt like I was interrupting lunch, family time, and was nothing but a politely greeted but somewhat unwelcome intruder. read more

OMG! I absolutely love this salon. If you want 30 minutes of comic relief, come see Wendy!!! She is a hoot! Can't wait to see her again. Plus she gave a really good pedi. 5 stars read more

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately that's not possible for me. When my nails were done, there was no base coat, the drill file used to remove my previous polish was clearly one meant for a dog, and the work was incredibly sloppy. The woman doing my nails removed her gloves at one point and used her bare fingernails to clean up the messy polish. She also insisted on removing an ingrown toenail, but when she did, she wiped off the tweezers on her sweatpants, and she cleaned her buffer by dipping it into the water where my feet were. Not to mention that the tub had no plastic wrap protecting it, and there was only the one employee, she had to call in a man (presumably her brother according to other reviewers) because she was attempting to do three people's nails at once. I was quite disappointed by the service we received, and if you do go here, pick up some epsom salt to make sure you don't get an infection from their lack of hygiene. read more

Worst manicure of my life. The employees refused to take the nails off and proceeded to charge me $40. Dust piled up on all products. I once got my nails done in the Bronx in NY but USA Nails Ruidoso tops #1 worst service. read more

The techs were both really nice and did their best to work fast. They had lots of people and only 2 working at the time. Which I figure was ok since it's a very small town. Their equipment is somewhat worn out, again it's a small town. Despite all that, my nails look great! They both are professionals and know what they're doing. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Absolutely horrible. Never get your eyebrows done here. The lady has no clue what she is doing. She messed up the natural shape of my eyebrows. HORRIBLE!! DO NOT come here. read more

I am a local and get my nails done here every other week. I also bring my mother who also gets her nails done. We've been coming here for over a year. Nancy and Lisa and very nice and fun once you get to know them. I never have any issues with my nails. They last forever. I've only had one crack in all this time and that was totally my fault. But, Nancy fixed it immediately and didn't want to charge me. English isn't their first language so I can see how people might think they sound rude, but it isn't that at all. They are fast, they are good, they care and my nails look great! read more

Just visiting Ruidoso, and chose this place. Big, huge mistake. Dirty salon, rude staff and overall no desire to please the customer. Must be because they know they have alot of tourists and will never see them again. I wanted to tell ladies coming in after me to turn around, dont spend your money here! read more
