I came in for a drop-in class because I was only going to be in the area for a few days and it was…read moreeverything I hoped it would be. I recently got my CF-L1 training certification and head coach Kelly Jackson was an instructor for the 2-day event so I knew she was a great coach and was really excited to have her as a coach in her home gym. The first class is complementary, and there were 3 other drop-ins other than me. All the regulars at the gym were very friendly and welcoming to us, in true CrossFit fashion. I spoke to one of the regulars and she talked about how she came from another CrossFit gym and she raves about the coaches here and how much more she has learned in skills since switching gyms. Atmosphere wise, it is a VERY nice place. CrossFit gyms have a reputation for being pretty *minimal* in amenities, aka, just all the equipment in an industrial-park style building. They have well-kept and clean bathrooms, benches for hanging up bags/coats and changing shoes, a table area for chilling, gear/clothing/drinks for purchase, and a couch/game area with a pool table for general chilling and socializing. The gym space itself is pretty spacious and has bikes, rowers, skiergs, and air runners (those self-powered treadmills). Most CF gyms don't have all those cardio machine options so it was fun to have the variety. For those new to the CrossFit environment, they offer special "on ramp" time slots for coaching those new to the movements to SAFELY adjust to some of the more difficult movements, intensity, and lifestyle. I would 100% stop by if I end up in the area again and I would recommend this location to all levels and ages looking for a great CrossFit family to join

I've been attending the school for 3 years with both of my girls who are now 10 and 13. It has got…read moreme back into better shape., and for my girls they have learned some valuable life skills. I honestly hope they are never in a situation that they would have to use their karate skills, but I at least feel they have been given the ability to get out. This year my 5 yr. old started in the beginner, and wife started in the Adult only classes, and it has become a great family activity. It is fun watching my older girls work with both of them, since as brown belts they have to help with the instruction in other classes. The instructors are great, and Holly has been an awesome role model for both my girls. She has a wealth of martial arts knowledge, and is great with the kids. With the 8 to 10 different black belt instructors we are exposed to a wide range of styles and techniques in martial arts, self defense, and sparring areas. After 3 yrs, I highly recommend that anyone should take some sort of martial arts in their life. And if you have kids I would rank this up with a skill just as important as reading and writing. The fitness and self-confidence that it has provided for my girls has built them a foundation for pursing whatever they want. And with the world we live in today for girls and boys. I feel I've given them the best chance to get out of the bad situations they may face. Thank you, and I hope to see you at class. Matt
