I can't tell you how terrible this post office is. I don't even think one should call this place a post office. If you want a headache, bad day, or just want to feel frustrated try this place out. They specialize in messing up the mail. If you are unlucky enough to have to use them send all your mail certified or get delivery conformation. Before I finally got totally frustrated with them they managed to send several pieces of mail to the wrong place ! They close for an hour long lunch break. They don't even delivery mail to our house timely. I would drive to Darien or Meridian before I stopped to use this post office. I actually use the post office in Meridian now. You will save yourself time if you just drive a little longer to do your mailing business. read more

This Post Office is a joke! The lady that was there had no idea of what supplies I needed and told me they don't exist (even though you can get these things at every other post office) she even said she also "manages" the Post Office at Fort Stewart and she would know what supplies are available. REALLY lady you could barely form a sentence offered no help what so ever and thought it was us that had no idea of what we wanted done. Left there went to Darien and they where great! Had the needed supplies and OFFERED to HELP !!!! I was blown away by all the folks at that office. I will go out of my way to avoid the Townsend Office and the headache that place gave me. read more
