And if I could provide 0 stars, I definitely would. Buckle up, let me give you full context behind my experience with them. July 15th, 2025 I sent a request for a consultation and scheduled a zoom call with Chris Trevino the very next day on 07/16. That day, we discussed a plan of action and what goals were. We agreed on $10,000 for my personal and business returns. A client engagement letter was sent on July 30th and I officially became their client on August 12th. I had to resign the engagement letter on October 14th for what reason, I have no idea. But after that, we were off to the races. They asked for all my documentation and I provided everything they needed. In November, I was asked to upload a few docs and I did so. I wanted to get an update on next steps and a general timeline for completion. I contacted my initial Business Development Rep Chris, but I soon found out that he was no longer with the company. Well, this is odd I thought. If he was replaced, why didn't a NEW REP call me to inform me of the change. The entire month of November goes by and crickets. December 18th comes and they FINALLY ask me for my quick books info to go through my financials (4 months after the engagement letter) and after that, I don't hear back from them until FEBRUARY 25TH!!!!! It took me going up to the office PERSONALLY, taking time out of my own schedule, just to light a fire under their A$$, just to get a response! And when I finally got on a call with Victor and his colleague, you know what they gave me?! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Victor wasn't even prepared and he never knew that my tax returns weren't completed! So you know what that tells me, he has 0 clue about his own business affairs. Who the hell gets on a zoom call to discuss next steps when the 1st steps were never completed! And to top it off, he tries to sell me on the idea of becoming a fractional CFO. As if I would hire them for anything else in the future. Fast forward to March 19th, and now I meet with Aldismary. She says Mr. Harris, your returns are ready. And I'm like it's about god damn time! We get on Zoom and she's not even prepared!!! Claiming that the team never uploaded them to the portal. I can't make this up man! So another week of waiting again. What's the timeline now you say, 8 months!!!!!!!!!! I get on the Zoom with Aldosmary and now I'm completely done with these people. She provides the personal return and I'm like ok, I don't care about this. That's simple. WHERE IS MY BUSINESS RETURN?? And you guessed it folks, it STILL wasn't ready! As I'm writing this, it's now currently March 31st and I'm fuming angry! I have to take time out of my day to write a scathing google review. $10,000 and all I have to show for it is a personal tax return that I could've went to H&R Block to do at Walmart! Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT fall for the tricks with these clowns. These reviews are complete nonsense. Don't ever do business with any organization that doesn't treat you like a priority. And Victor, I told Aldismary that you needed to reach out to me and rectify this. And you chose to be a coward instead. But don't worry, the next review is going on my TikTok page of over 240,000 followers. By the end of the week, everyone in Atlanta will know about your company

I've patronized Jackson Hewitt for a number of years, but this year, in preparing my federal tax…read moreyear 2021 return, my experience with this business is nothing short of insufferable. I thought I was in good hands when our joint tax return was being prepared by Kashyap, the manager of the local Duluth Jackson Hewitt office. My husband and I thought that everything went smoothly until the very next day, before filing away our hard copy, I noticed that our federal refund is scheduled to go to a completely different direct deposit than the one we usually use in prior years. With this shocking discovery I immediately drove to the same local office and urgently asked Kashyap why our refund is going to someone else's account. I showed Kashyap the last visible four digits of both the routing number and account number information on our completed 1040 form and compared them to my checkbook. I asked him whose direct deposit information is on our submitted form. Immediately Kashyap got defensive and responded that we had to have given him the wrong direct deposit information, especially when he asked us to verify its accuracy two times as he inputted the banking data into the computer. This is where I asked him if, on the hard copy, the 16 digits for the checking account (that differs from my 9 digits for my personal checking account) have anything to do with the no-fee refund anticipation loan (RAL) associated with MetaBank (in partnership with Jackson Hewitt). He simply said no. Hearing this, I demanded that he contact IRS to correct the direct deposit information. Kashyap responded that, really, we needed to reach out to the IRS. Indignantly, I asked him why do we need to rectify the situation when we already paid him $188 to act on our behalf. Like, isn't this his job? Office manager Kashyap made a couple phone calls to others within this business organization that went nowhere. He did this feeble attempt to correct the problem all the while he continuously gas-lighted us that we gave him the wrong direct deposit information. Later, in the process of figuring out what little options we had at this stage, I noticed that, for the state tax return portion of our $188 tax preparation, the direct deposit for our state tax refund was indeed, correctly reflected on our hard copy. This means that we had to have given him the same information for our federal return. Again, I asked Kashyap if this conflicting information on the federal return has anything to do with the RAL associated with MetaBank. Kashyap decided to open his mind to consider that I may have a point, especially when the direct deposit info for the state return jived with what we presented to him. Then it dawned on him that, in order for the RAL to become approved and issued, that our federal tax refund detours to MetaBank and then afterwards is wired to our own bank. (And this office manager did not realize this protocol until we came along, not having previously okayed a RAL from our federal refund until this year?) This whole drama over NOTHING caused a commotion inside me in the form of a migraine headache, which compelled me to call out sick for my evening shift job. Very disappointed are we that we're not even being offered a $188 refund from Jackson Hewitt...and, believe me, we've been asking for it.
