If i need just a couple items im standing in line with people who have full carts and There is only 1 checker and sometimes the line goes all the way down the aisle nearly to back of store. I spend more time in line than i did grabbing my items i needed its so aggravating to say the least. But the staff is usually very nice and the store is clean and easy to navigate. Aisles are pretty wide and i find what im looking for quickly because of the signs for each aisle. Its only getting 3 stars because of how long the lines are and how long it takes to checkout

My better half went there recently when she needed to find some coconut milk and after finding exactly what she wanted, I decided it was time to go check this place out. Located downtown just on the backside of the Salvation Army, this is effectively a low-cost grocery store. It reminds me a lot of grocery outlet, but with more grime. Don't read grime as a bad thing, read it as the sort of place the definitely warrants exploring! Upon walking in, the place isn't much to look at when you come in, but exploring a little bit reveals that they have everything from huge amounts of paper towels and cups, all the way to a decent selection of craft beers and wines from the Northwest. Deleting that I'll refrigerated section with bulk eggs and a surprisingly good selection of bacon! As a man who enjoys his Bacon, this pleases me greatly! Prices here are definitely lower than what you find a lot of places, and while they may not have absolutely everything you're looking for, they will probably have most of it, especially if it's common stuff. Upfront, they had the discount card which had all sorts of fun stuff inside. Everything from a large jar of spicy honey down to ripped boxes of pancake mix and I think there was a bunch of rug cleaner in there too. Definitely the sort of place that you need to stop every time you go in, just to make sure there's not something you need! The folks working here were uniformly helpful and very friendly. Credit cards are excepted, which is a surprisingly big deal as there are places like this I've gone before that only take cash,And the whole check out process took about 15 seconds. Based on the inaugural experience, this is definitely a spot that I will be going to the next time I'm in the area and looking for something priced a little bit more competitively than where we traditionally shop.

They also serve hot tamales, sopes, enchiladas, burritos, Chile relleni, taquitos, soups, shrimp cebicbe, salsas, champurrado and more! Their plate and family meals are a crazy good deal. Admittedly, the hit food left something to be desired but for the price and service, can't really complain. (The tamale I got was a bit dry and needed a but more flavor, but it was toward evening and each tamale was hefty for $2 a piece. Rice and beans hit the spot.) The lady serving our food was very nice too. Sad that this place selling legit pumpkin empanadas is so far away from home but I'd happily go back here for more empanadas and grocery shopping again.
