I told them I was looking for pain management. The immediate response without any examination was the doctor would start with an ablation to stop my back pain, but there was a big red flag, I had NO BACK PAIN and wasn't there for that. I told this receptionist I wasn't there for back pain, her response was, (she) the dr, always starts with back ablations with every patient. My response was, well I'm not going to be one of them. She responded then their doctor and office would not help me. I was in full agreement with her at that point and walked back out the door without an examination, without ever speaking with a doctor, without any evaluation. No check in, no weigh in, no blood pressure check and the appointment lasted less than one minute, if it lasted that long. Now this Doctor Anne Christopher, keeps attempting to bill me and Medicare for $480.00 for an examination that NEVER happened. I never saw her, never spoke with her and never received an exam or consultation. I have been in touch with the Medicare Fraud Department over this. If there is any mystery as to why health care costs are outrageous, this is a prime example!

Usually it's pretty quick to get in to get allergy shots. The nurses who do that are friendly and the waiting room while you wait after you get the shots is nice and well stocked with decent magazines. It's always been easy for me to get an appointment on days and times that work for me, and on short notice too. Bonus for that. I always wait til the last minute! Loses a star because on more occasions than not when I see the doctor (only once a year usually), I have to wait for a looong time. Bring a book. Dr Usry is a very fine doctor. I felt I was getting quality care from him. My reason for leaving…read morehis care was due to a staff error and him not correcting the error. I had an appointment which I needed to reschedule. They had an appointment 10 days later than my original time so I set up the appointment. When I arrived I was told that I wasn't on the appointment list. The front desk woman told me I no showed my appointment from the previous week and I wouldn't be seen today. I asked him to talk to the doctor and see if he would fit me in as this was not an error on my part, but theirs. I watched her talk to Dr Usry, him shake his head, and then she told me that I wouldn't be seen today, but Dr Usry said I could reschedule my appointment. I told her this would be my last visit to the office....and it was. This was a them problem, not a me problem. They made it a me problem with their error. I understand they may have been overbooked, but once again, that is not my problem. I rescheduled in a timely manner. A Doctors skills matter, but so does their office staff. A doctor who isn't willing to fix the errors of their staff is not someone I want to trust with the care of my health.
