They've got a great selection for just about any hardware need, saving you the 30+ minute drive to a big box store. The staff is always helpful and welcoming, making every visit a good experience. The real standout, though, is their appliance section. We're building a new home and wanted to buy local -- not just to support a local business, but to have reliable service and support close by. Adam has been fantastic to work with. He's extremely knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we understood all our options. He even went the extra mile to make sure we were getting the best deals and maximizing any available rebates or sale prices. In the end, we're paying less than we would have at a big box retailer -- and getting much better service. Always check out your local stores before heading to the chain outlets. Have purchased a couple appliances from them and have been very happy. Friendly and have a large collection of appliances and brands

We are the owners of a 2nd home that our sons live in, the fridge quit on Wednesday, purchased a fridge from Urness on a Friday, with it will be delivered on Wednesday--Friday at the latest. Wednesday came and went,... Friday came and went without Fridge. On Saturday we went and picked up the fridge. When I went in not only would no one come wait on me. Across the store I had an employee me ask me what I needed. The owner headed for the hills, yes Dan, I saw you. I asked for the refund for the delivery and installation we had paid for. Was told it would be cut on Monday so we'll see. The person who told me that the refund would be cut Monday said he didn't understand why the fridge was picked up. This was day 10 without a fridge. REALLY!! All the time shouting across the store. I have not done business with this business for a reason. We wanted to support our local guy. In the day and age of big box stores, expected better from the local business. I generally don't leave reviews but feel people need to be aware of the lack of customer service this business has. read more

Bought an LGdryer. Paid way too much. It would never completely dry clothes. They kept saying it was working fine. It was new and under warranty and they charged me for service calls and said it was working fine just dont use eco mode. Tried this and several settings still took 1-1.2 hours to dry any clothes that were heavy. It did heat up and wasn't blocked. Found out the normal cycle was programed to always use eco mode by another company tech and got charged another service call. 400 in service charges to tell me never to use eco mode and that it heats up fine. Hate it! Will never buy another LG product or go to urness hardware ever again. I bought local then they said i had to deal with company after i complained numerous times. read more
