Need medical care when visiting the Smokies? This is the place to come!…read more I fell and broke my finger while fishing in Smoky Mountain National Park. Maryville was close to where we were staying so I decided to go to Urgent Care. The first two places I went had either a broken x-ray machine or did not have an x-ray technician. Fast Pace Health had a friendly receptionist, an easy registration process, and excellent medical providers. A nurse practitioner evaluated my injury before I received on-site x-rays. The x-rays were reviewed by an off-site radiologist who provide a concise and easily understood written evaluation. They forwarded the x-rays to my specialist for follow up when I got home and also gave me a copy on a cd. It's rare that medical care goes smoothly these days but Fast Pace Health made that happen when I needed it. And by the way, it looks just like the pictures here on Yelp.

The doctor was knowledgeable and they were able to do the basic testing I needed on site. They called the prescription in across the street at Walmart and I was able to pick that up quickly and head home. Overall everyone was pleasant, it was well organized and I got the care I needed so I could get back to work.
