Yes, an employee saw us walking around, turned away and walked to her desk toward the back of the store. If this is the way potential customers are treated I can only imagine how customer service is after the sale is made. Their loss.

I was told in the store that the seat would break in as the leather relaxed. That never happened and the chair is so uncomfortable that it is painful to sit in for more than an hour or so. Their solution was that I could spend even more money on a new softer core pad. Maynard's used to be known for great follow up service, but that doesn't seem to be true anymore. Just like a lot of folks, over a period of time wasting money on furniture that doesn't last we learned the lesson: Don't go cheap buying furniture that's inexpensively made. It's a better value in the long run to buy household furniture that's made to last! Amelia's has really made us happy with this piece! So much so that we returned and purchased an extremely well made sofa and TV stand. There was an issue with the two delivery guys who wanted twice the agreed price to bring this huge and heavy piece into our home.
